I reckon every society throughout time has a different notion of what righteousness is, based on their own perspectives.

To Christians, the obvious choice is Jesus, who would be considered infallible in his moral judgement because he acts as a plenary portion of the Supreme.

No, I said no such thing nor is that my position. Righteousness is not so simple as it has both an absolute element to it as well as a relative one since it ultimately depends on being defined and measured by man himself.

EG: The Sun is bright. We can see and feel its brightness. But, how bright is it? That determination will depend both on how close you are to the Sun plus how sensitive to light you are.

So we agree, the Sun is bright, but how bright it is will be a matter of varying opinion.
