The answer is Rufus Wainwright.

Thank you for playing.

(Don't even mention Buckley's schmoozefest.)

I've always liked this young woman's version...and it doesn't hurt she's cute as a button!

The best, by far =

I love this song and I like Rufus Wainwright's version also, but to be honest, I'd love it no matter who sang it. Heck, I even enjoyed hearing it on American Idol. It's just one of those songs that just moves me.

I like this version, but I'm a sucker for harmonies.

The fourth guy to sing (around the 2 min mark) -- wasn't expecting that voice from that face!

Leonard Cohen?

Who the heck is that?
He's an old man today. But he was big in the revolutionary times of the sixties.

How do you like his version of Hallelujah?

I was kidding. ;)

I'm a big fan actually.
He is Canadian. My wife and I ran into him in the West (Greenwich) Village back in the heated days of the Vietnam protest when we were organizers. Back then he used to play week-end gigs in the Feenjon, the Cafe Wha, and The Gate, and he was relatively unknown.

Those were the days! Dylan. Joan Baez. Lenny Bruce. Judy Collins.

Lots of faded hopes.
