You don't understand. With so few troops our generals plan included re-deploying thousands of troops necessary for the evacuation. The incompetent previous president ordered everyone out in a fit of rage after his election loss was announced on Faux News. The generals convinced him that they needed at least 2500 troops to sustain our commitment to the Afghan Army. For the evacuation, it was no troops and no plan forwarded to the next administration.

The biggest flaw in the Generals new plan was the heavy reliance on the Afghan Army. But after seeing how they were left out of the negotiations it's not too surprising they gave us a big one finger salute on our way out.
