Proof positive you couldn't see truth if it bit you on the ass and repeatedly clawed your legs till you bled out.You lie.
It's sad how little people know about their own country's history. They also opened the very first session of Congress with a prayer session that lasted for hours. A high percentage of the founding fathers, I can't remember the exact number now, were pastors and had degrees in theology.

And so many pretend so hard that there is no connection.
Yet our public buildings are full of religious markers and decorations.
And a great many pagan decorations as well.
Our congress begins each secession with a prayer.
Yes, we should all say a prayer anytime our congress is in session.
In God we Trust is still on our Money.
And everybody else pays in cash!
Under God is still in our pledge of allegiance.
A pledge written by a Socialist, the words were inserted in the Pledge in 1954. I remember the change as a child.
Separation of church and state? I don't think so. Thank God.

Straw man, the argument is that there shouldn't be or that the stuff is unconstitutional.
Which is the point. It is not unconstitutional as long as Government does not promote any one religion. Though Christianity has been under some pretty tough attacks in the courts.

Examples? What "attacks" against "Christianity"?
The forefathers did not seek to remove God from Gov't, they want to stop the power the church had on Gov't . We need to put God back in
Absolutely not. That is what your church, synogogue, mosque, coven, temple is for.
And you can go fuck yourself. You're a damn liar. Congress can make no law establishing a religion. That means the American people are free from congressional authority concerning their religion. There is nothing in that claus that say to keep our religion in our church, synogogue, mosque, coven, or temple.
You're a lying idiot.

Can you tell us when, exactly, 'God' was inserted into our pledge- you know, the pledge written by a socialist?

First off, please remember that I have never and will never mention my own religion. That is between me and my God whomever or what ever that may be in my mind.
What court decision was involved with changing greeting cards to "Seasons Greetings"?Think about it, Holiday time instead of Christmas. Seasons greetings. Remove the mangers from downtown. Remove that cross i have to see on my way to work. And you don't know about any of this?

The modern concept is often credited to the writings of English philosopher John Locke, but the phrase "separation of church and state" is generally traced to an 1802 letter by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists, where Jefferson spoke of the combined effect of the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment. His purpose in this letter was to assuage the fears of the Danbury, Connecticut Baptists, and so he told them that this wall had been erected to protect them. The metaphor was intended, as The U.S. Supreme Court has currently interpreted it since 1947, to mean that religion and government must stay separate for the benefit of both, including the idea that the government must not impose religion on Americans nor create any law requiring it. It has since been in several opinions handed down by the United States Supreme Court,[1] though the Court has not always fully embraced the principle.[

All of the court decisions involving crosses and mangers had to do with PUBLIC property. Because we live in a nation where everyone is free to believe in whatever God they want (or lack thereof), why should PUBLIC land be used to promote one religion, and not all?
Would you be ok with a Pentagram hanging on the side of a courthouse? How about Star and Crescent?

Would not phase me in the least. As long as the Government does not tell me which religion I have to practice, why should I care what decorates our city Squares. My village by the way still sets out a Manger display at Christmas time. I'm told the display is about 75 years old. So I guess that piece of history is unconstitutional now?
Of course.

According to who? Me personally, I don't think it's a violation of the First, nor do I care whether or not it's there. You guys are welcome to your manger, if you want.
I just have a big problem with the whole "persecuted Christians" idea. No one is unfairly targeting Christians, there's no "WAR ON CHRISTMAS". It's just more scare tactics.

Sorry I can not agree. There is a war on Christmas. It is not being waged by a large amount of people. But there is a small far left group of people who detest any sign of Christmas and fight it where they can. Last year we had a group of People protesting with signs outside our civic center. Which is only half city owned. Because of Christmas lights on some of the pine trees on the grounds. Those people are waging a war on Christmas IMO.
