I benefit from inflation. Savings rates are up, and SS is getting an 8% bump. There are also great deals to be had on many consumer goods. I live a rather spartan lifestyle so higher prices hardly affect me.

It's not all gloom and doom. There are now great bargains out there as some businesses reduce prices just to survive. Craig's List will be filled with bargains as well. Savings rates have already increased substantially for those with cash to spare. Of course, not everyone is so positioned but many are.
