Gordon Lawshe is neighbors to Bobbi Wilson and her mother, Monique Joseph. Instead of checking to see what Wilson was doing, Lawshe instead chose to call law enforcement on her. When he got on the phone with the police, he said he saw a little Black woman spraying stuff on the sidewalk, and said it scared him. Monique Joseph, the mother of Wilson, said she was speaking on the injustices on her very street, as her daughter was racially profiled right outside of her own home.

9 year old girl alone on the street, this man saved her life. She most likely would of been kidnapped raped and murdered by morning.

I imagine the mother was outraged, for someone pointing out to the police the danger this child was in. Some women get very offended and angry, denying that they put their children in harm's way.

When I was kid, it was against the law to molest a praying mantis and killing one earned you 5 years in prison no questions asked.

Further, adults don't speak to children they don't know nowadays- they leave it to professionals. If Mr. Lawshe didn't want to be falsely accused of saying something inappropriate to the kid, having the police do it made sense.
