Which Democrat should I Vote For In 2028?

You just don't like her because she doesn't like Trump. It has nothing to do with policy.
She did not have to like Trump. I tis aligning with progressive Socialist Communists that told us what she is. People backed her and her father. You know the father that was ridiculed unmercifully from Progs. Entertainers had a field day. TV shows and movies mocked him in terrible ways. This is what makes people believe our politicians are sell outs. they just take up shop and move over to where the puzzle fits and their masters direct them to it. Turning Jan. 6 into the worst event in human history and the stupid believing it. Last week in Seattle, Antifa attacked Christians having a service. That was a hundred times worse than Jan. 6 will ever be. They most likely will get away with it. We should have had the names of the professional terrorists involved with them by now. Nada.

Right, so nothing to do with policy and everything to do with going against Trump.

There are so many constant anti-Trump threads day after day that I thought I'd ask those on the left which democrat I should vote for in 2028. Take your pick out of any Democrat you wish, whether they have talked about running or not but they must have at least a realistic shot at winning. These are my values and policies I base my voting on (in no particular order):

1. Must be pro-business or at least neutral anyway. I won't vote for anyone who is flat out pro-worker. (I'm a businessman).

2. Must be against illegal immigration and for stopping the flow of illegals to our border. Anyone crossing the border illegally cannot be granted asylum. Must also be against sanctuary cities and states and be against birthright citizenship.

3. Must be though on crime, criminals, and terrorism and believe that law enforcement are not the enemies of the people.

4. Doesn't believe in raising taxes in order to spend more money. Raising taxes to pay down the debt may be acceptable, depending on the details. But, no gaslighting and no trickery. One caveat, no raising tax revenues until the budget is balanced first and then those raised tax revenues go straight toward paying down the debt.

5. Must be pro-life and not for abortion on demand. Abortion should not be used as a method of birth control. No abortions allowed by providers receiving federal tax dollars. If so, federal tax dollars are to be stopped.

6. Must be pro-2A. If you want to talk about "common sense" gun control legislation then talk to me about it after we first try keeping criminals locked up and the border secured.

7. We must have a strong national defense, including the golden dome or whatever you want to call it. Any cuts to defense must be proven to be just wasteful spending.

8. Must cut spending to get our fiscal house in order, which also keeps inflation under control. We need to balance our budget.

9. We do need to work on simplyfying and making health care cheaper but not by adding costs to the national debt and not by stiffing providers and healthcare companies. We need to work with them and big pharma to control their costs instead of just classifying them as the enemy. We need to make healthcare cheaper for insurance companies, providers and big pharma so that everyone's healthcare will be cheaper.

10. We need to work on a different federal tax system for individuals with the goal of eliminating the IRS altogether (with the exception of businesses). No filing tax returns for refunds or payments. What's paid is what is paid.

11. Working toward Climate Change goals is a worthwhile endeavor but not by government mandate nor by government mandate against fossil fuels. And not by increasing costs to consumers and not by adding money onto our national debt. And don't give me any bologna that it saves us money when it actually costs us money.

12. No woke. No DEI. The "D" in DEI stands for discrimination. We don't achieve equity and inclusion by discrimination. No men in women's sports or bathrooms. The person I vote for must know what a woman is. Being progressive means you have automatically lost my vote. Kids will not be indoctrinated and parents have control of their minor's lives, not the children, not the schools, not the medical field, and not the government.

So, knowing my criteria, which Democrat should I vote for in 2028? This is leftists' chance to take me out of the Trump fold.
~~~~~~
Based upon what Democrats are presently telling us, guess you won't be voting for any Democrat come the midterm or 2028 elections..
what happened to end in the war in Ukraine on day one of the Trump presidency? It’s been over 100 days and you still support the dip shit Putin lover.
Of course, Putin wasn’t gonna end the war once he got his lack in there again’ I know the whole Republican Party is turned into Putin‘s lackey.
~~~~~~
Better to try and stop a war, than to weakly allow it to happen like the fraudulently elected alzheimer ridden Biden administration accomplished by lifting the Trump sanctions on Russia and screwing up the Afghanistan withdrawal....

Independent thinker Post #1 May 29, 2025 …~… I won't vote for anyone who is flat out pro-worker. (I'm a businessman).

Whut I say …~…

How much has the income wealth gap increased since the 1984 Reagan presidential victory

I certainly wouldn't vote for the party which just passed a bill adding $5.2 trillion to the federal debt less than six months into the current administration!

I honestly am baffled how anyone bleevs the organization formerly known as the Republican Party is the party of fiscal responsibility.

It just blows my mind.

whut I ask the OP in Post #77 …~… were you eligible to vote for the Republican Party Electoral Landslide Map in 1983?

And did you vote with the winning businessman, anti-worker, top ten percentile in amassed wealth few. Jerry Falwell & Phyllis Schlafly white religious right COALITION?

if Trump gets his way and becomes empowered with the wealth and authority of the divine rights of a king with the blessings of a six Catholic Supreme Court, you will get your wish.

You will not have to bother voting anymore

We will have gone the way of Hungary and Russia.

Thr News Media, Minorities and women will be put in their place under strong man rule.

Trump said: "Christians, get out and vote, just this time. "You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians."
He added: "I love you Christians. I'm a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote," Trump said.

if you don’t want strong men Christian rule vote for a Democrat for every political office in the land.

But if you do want strong male white evangelical Christian rule the right to vote means little to you anyway

Data firm is building 'detailed portraits of Americans' on Trump's order: report

The president signed an executive order in March calling for the federal government to share data across various agencies, and while he hasn't publicly spoken about the effort since, officials have been putting the plan into place with the help of the publicly traded tech firm Palantir, which the government has paid at least $113 million since Trump took office, reported the New York Times.

This is how the Republican Party is spending your money
