My political beliefs cross over many ideologies. On some things people would call me a liberal, on others they would say I am a conservative. Talk to me about drugs and you'd say I'm a libertarian. I was a registered Republican for the sake of primaries, but have never voted the party line. I have voted for Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Greens, Libertarians.

A conservative is suppose to be some one that holds to social traditions and uphold them.


Conservativism of today is something entirely different.

I have raised hell about defecit spending since Reagan.
I believe in balanced budgets.
I believe in family values, just not religious values.
I believe in education.
I believe in smaller government.


If you mean that I am not a republican you are correct, I am however conservative.

wtf? i remember when conservatism had something to do with the impact of government on the private sector through tax/fiscal policy and competition in the marketplace/share of the national product.

what he said.....with a very strong belief that us tax dollors should ONLY be spent on us citizens and on us soil and that any military base outside the us should be paid for by the country in which it resides....

Independent, but lean Left after the Bush/DeLay/Frist years.

I don't support a lot of the Democrats ideas, but I don't like a lot of the Republican ideas either.
