I doubt many of them have ever read a book about the world around them, about war, about fascism, about socialism, they know NOTHING about these subjects other than the distortions fed them by Trump and his trumpanzees.

The US, particularly the extreme right where Trump sits, has embraced anti-intellectualism, adopted the belief that intelligence = bad, intelligence = weak and that's the death knell for any society.
