"Canadian Leader Ready To Work With Trump To Resurrect Keystone XL Pipeline
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith 'looking forward to starting those conversations,' she tells the Washington Free Beacon

Danielle Smith, the premier of Alberta, Canada, said Tuesday that she would like to restart conversations with Trump administration officials about reapproving the Keystone XL oil pipeline or permitting additional Canada-United States oil pipelines.

Smith is prepared to leverage her own authority and work with President Donald Trump on the issue, she told the Washington Free Beacon in a Tuesday interview. Her government is seeking to double its oil and gas production, she said, which means the province will need additional pipeline infrastructure to transport that product to its destination.

"I think there's a number of different projects we could look at that go cross-border, north and south," Smith said. "What I would propose is—are there ways that we can look at increasing pipeline access, perhaps some new routes or perhaps some new proposals on existing routes?"

"And I think that would match with the speed with which this administration wants to move," she continued. "So, whether it's a Keystone 2.0 or something else, I'm looking forward to starting those conversations in earnest once the interior secretary is sworn in." "

Let's go!! Get those pipelines going. It's going to be amusing watching Democrats' anger over lower food prices and cheap gas.

Let’s see if gas prices go down. Oil companies are already sitting on oil. Trump can’t make them increase supply and lower their profits.

Funny now you want government involved in capitalism. Suddenly you realize some industries have to be regulated.

I personally am interested to see how Trump interacts with Pierre Poilievre - Canada's apparent-next Prime Minister. Pete is more than Trump's equal intellectually, and he truly seems to know what is in Canada's best interest. From what he has said in recent months, he seems more keen to build Canadian refineries (with U.S. help?) than to resurrect the Keystone XL pipeline.

Trump spoke on the world stage about police upholding the rule of law and being fair and impartial in their treatment of citizens. As much as people say Trump is transactionary, with all he and his son in laws dad experienced, he does value honest police operations and not the weaponization and excessive abuses against citizens. The elite tech people around him are also libertarians by nature and this extends to social rights.

Thus, Canada is in a far away place from where America is and where Trump wants the West to be. There seems to be a paradox of positions at times with Trump but when good Canadians are treated unfairly by the apparatus it surely angers Trump. Maybe not as much as when good Americans are treated unfairly, but it still resonates with him.

Canada and the police apparatuses here did this to themselves and our economy. I am but one victim of MANY.

Outstanding! Let's pump some oil and rub the idiot Dems noses in it! :muahaha: It's a two-fer win, we get oil and Dems get their global warming feelings hurt. Yes as a matter of fact I do like watching Dems suffer.
