This is one of the most deceptive headlines of the year. The CLEAR IMPLICATION is that the cancellation of the block party is the result of NYPD Animus against President Trump, when that is far from the truth.
It is a security precaution, entirely understandable with POTUS on the premises. The cancellation of the watch party will benefit scores of sports bars and other drinking establishments. The revelers who would have gone to the watch party will patronize those businesses.
