When I was a kid, my dad would often ask me to get him a beer from the fridge.

I'd bring him half a beer.

I'd bring the whole beer, but would expect a sip as payment for the fetching.

My old man bought the large bottle of Coors, so I would usually help myself..

My step-dad would tell me to get him a beer from the fridge, and I would shake it up as much as I could before I got back into the living room. He started paying me 10 cents a beer not to shake it up. After awhile I upped my price to 25 cents.

Not sure. I didn't even know about the Youtube videos until after using this sig. There are quite a bit of them with the same little girl and dog under the username Catherine Brown. Some are years old.
