When is an embryo/fetus a human life?

You think that personhood is determined politically and I (and I hope others) see personhood as inherent in simply being a human organism, biology.
Sure. The Founders knew that. You know, when personhood was a political decision.

I mean, how can that be denied?

Were the founders infallible in their beliefs and understanding?

Have we advanced in any areas of our understanding of the biological facts in the 250 years since the "founders" started this country?

Apparently not, from what you say of your understanding. It appears to be derived from Bronze Age civilisations.

Personhood is determined politically. Blacks used to be considered slaves, not "persons". The underlying biology which makes people human, regardless of race, has not changed.

So perhaps "human" is a better term than "personhood". At some point during pregnancy, a human life exists. When this point is, and how to define it is the question.

I ask again. . .

Were YOU conceived?

I know that I was.

Let's examine the receipts on that. Shall we?

I base my conclusions on recent (fetal Homicide) laws, modern scientific observations made in IVF, cloning, aging and other biology advances. . . . and you defer to "the founders."

Hmmmmmn.

So we have to ask.

Were slaves not "persons" even before they were finally politically recognized as persons?

A skin cell is human but isn't a "human life".
A human skin cell has human life of which it is a small part. That cell has all the DNA needed to replicate the whole human form. That is human LIFE. Kill the cells, you kill the LIFE.

"Persons", no. Humans, yes.

When did you know it?

Would have been about two years of age for me.
Misses the point.

I was conceived; and seemingly, you agree that YOU were conceived as well.

I mean, if I don't think, I don't exist, Shirley?

Or was Descartes full of it?

Entirely the point. Conception occurred at two years of age for me.
Can you prove this by explaining what it is then that makes your biological father YOUR biological "father" / Biological Parent?

Prove that conception occurred for me at two years of age?

Easy. I recall nothing before that. I assume I'd remember when my life started.

I don't understand your method of 'proof'.

So does that mean someone could've killed you when you were one years old, and that wouldn't have been wrong, because in your mind it was before you were "conceived"?

lol (sorry to laugh, but that is so mixed up and silly.)
