My point is, if you are going to argue that "life begins at conception" (an absurd notion, to be sure) then you have to realize that the vast majority of life conceived never makes it to being a baby. The absurd position you have would outlaw IVF (are those frozen embryos being denied habeas corpus) and require the police to investigate every miscarriage as a potential homicide. (did she do something to lose that baby?)

If homosexuality is learned, how do you account for all those people brought up in religious families who end up being gay? You know, like Anita Bryant's granddaughter.

I've been saying when they get a heartbeat for years but this guy makes a valid point. Plants are alive and they don't have heartbeats. They're alive because they're growing. So I guess a fetus can be alive in that sense.

The definition of life is a living cell. Even a sperm is a living cell. A human egg is dormant until called upon for potential fertilization then it is technically alive so let's stop saying a Zygote is just a 'bunch of cells that are not alive." Life does not require a heartbeat.

It they want to say a Zygote is not a human being then they need to be reminded that a Zygote is alive and, if not killed, will usually result in a fully formed human being.

I think it's unfair to require it before a woman can know she's pregnant. It could take up to 40 days to know that you're pregnant and the woman should have a little time after that too to decide.

I never said it was a baby, I said it is a developing human. Abortion kills it. IOW those cells are actively producing a human. It’s not just ‘tissue.’ That is fact no matter how you spin it.
