WE, THE PEOPLE. Instead, WE were told by local democrat leaders what the issues WHERE. They stopped listening , and by 2008, they lost all connection to the grass roots. We where told: We are going to vote for a BLACK man, Obama, WHO? We were TOLD to vote for him. The TAIL wagging the dog. Stop listening to the middleclass, start dictating what the issues are, instead. The democrats lost all credibility then. By 2016, I am a trump supporter over this, democrats abandoned us.

Some people say the republicans have stopped being republicans too. Sure feels like they are not as fiscally conservative as they used to be, too much spending IMHO. But I understand that in this form of gov't you gotta compromise.

True, the democrats are no longer the party for the little man, they've pretty much abandoned the lower income folks for some time now. Didn't seem to give a damn about all the rioting and looting going on in primarily low-income areas.

I am not a Biden supporter by a long shot but I watched the Republican Party get further and further down that rabbit hole until it could no longer be called Conservative. Not being a party guy, I didn't get the memo. If you are saying you actually went to a local political meeting and were told this, I can see how it would piss you off. I have never been to a local or national meeting on politics for either party in my life.

I know they aren't but I am pointing out a much more dangerous thing than the Dems not listing to me. I am pointing out where the MAGA GOP is using threats, violence and intimidation along with other means to get the same condition that Mussolini reached in 1926 and Hitler reached in 1933.
