With 1500 commutations and 39 blanket pardons, Biden seems to be just getting started.

It will damage Trump's revenge tour, and more will end it before it gets started.

"Today’s announcement will commute the sentences of close to 1,500 individuals who were placed on home confinement and will pardon 39 individuals convicted of non-violent crimes

Today, President Biden announced that he is granting clemency to nearly 1,500 Americans – the most ever in a single day – who have shown successful rehabilitation and a strong commitment to making their communities safer. The President is commuting the sentences of close to 1,500 individuals who were placed on home confinement during the COVID-19 pandemic and who have successfully reintegrated into their families and communities. He is also pardoning 39 individuals who were convicted of non-violent crimes. These actions represent the largest single-day grant of clemency in modern history.

Together, these actions build on the President’s record of criminal justice reform to help reunite families, strengthen communities, and reintegrate individuals back into society. The President has issued more sentence commutations at this point in his presidency than any of his recent predecessors at the same point in their first terms. He is also the first President ever to issue categorical pardons to individuals convicted of simple use and possession of marijuana, and to former LGBTQI+ service members convicted of private conduct because of their sexual orientation. In the coming weeks, the President will take additional steps to provide meaningful second chances and continue to review additional pardons and commutations."

This act suggests to me that he is setting up the pardons for Fauci, Cheney et al by trying to do a solid for presumably the downtrodden before he pardons the wealthy and powerful.

Let's watch and see if I am right or not.

This suggests to me that every fruitcake in the machinations of the bureaucracy is throwing up names for commutations and pardons, and Pedo Peter's name is being put on them as a rubber stamp.

Given the number, there's no way on Earth he has any idea who he is pardoning.

These aren’t blanket pardons nor do they have any thing to do with trump

Meh, not even mad.....I'm looking forward to the evil dem leftists squealing like stuck pigs when Trump issues the 1/6 pardons.
That doesn't bother me at all. Most of them have done enough time to pause and consider before doing something like that again. It's called rehabilitation.

It honestly appears to me, the more corrupt and authoritarian the administration, the more pardons that are necessary after they have cut a path of destruction unto the national character.

I will be surprised of he does not pardon the corrupt members of his cabinet preemptively.
Biden has pardoned thousands more than the 100 to 200 people Trump pardoned in 4 years.

Biden is mentally dying of dementia, we need an investigation into who actually is doing the pardons.

The pardons are not legal, Biden is mentally unable to understand what he is doing
