I think Dr. Ruth was also a sniper during the Israeli War of Independence. No doubt we have many good women snipers in our military also. However, kudos to this woman for fighting at this moment where she is needed.

Denis Sipan left her school in the Syrian part of Kurdistan five months ago to join the a rebel enclave of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units(YPG) as a sniper.
