Unsurprisingly, we have yet another gun thread with conservatives offering nothing of substance or value – just ignorance, stupidity, fallacies, and lies from the right.

On the other extreme side of the issue, you now have someone like Beto demanding that citizens turn in their assault rifles (AR-15 and other war military style war rifles) or face the stigma of becoming an outlaw.

What is missing in the above debate is an understanding of even recent history.

In the mid 1930's, we DID ban the sale of machine guns and short-barreled rifles, etc. mostly based on the rationale that such weapons were NOT for the hunter and sportsman....The use of such weaponry was regarded as nefarious....and the law makers were then correct.

Ask yourself WHY we don't readily sell RPG rifles?......After all, if the mental rationale of most gun owners is to be allowed to buy military weapons to ward off the federal government assault on their liberty, an RPG rifle or machine gun would certainly be handy, don't you think???

The problem with the commies is this is not what they want. This is the starting point. After they win step A, it's off to step B. If they win step B, it's off to step C.

All the Democrats who were waiving their arms saying "No, don't be silly, we don't want your guns" are all of a sudden quiet about beatoffs remarks of confiscation. Just like with open borders that he also wants.

Stop the cancer the moment it starts. It's the only way to fight it from spreading. Because after AR's, it will be 44's. After 44's, it will be 38's. After 38's, it will be all semi-automatic guns. And it won't stop until Democrats have reached their ultimate goal, which is to have a disarmed society except for cops and criminals.

I guess you're too ignorant to know the AR style weapon was approved for civilians sales before the military adopted a variant with select fire. So the AR was and is a civilian utility rifle that the military latter adopted. Also the modern RPG is not fired from a rifle, it's fired form a multi-use launcher.

Perhaps you should educate yourself before you insert your foot in your mouth.
