What You Saw Tonight Was the Trump Effect

Republicans felt the wrath tonight of voters rejecting Trump's agenda. The biggest issue for voters was the economy, with half listing it as their number one focus. Almost a year into his second term Trump has failed to deliver on the economy as food and energy prices continue to rise and 60% of voters disapprove of his handling. Republicans have lost their gains with Latino voters. In New Jersey, 64% went for Sherrill citing the economy and his handling of immigration has their largest concerns. Trump almost won New Jersey in last year's election largely due to the swing of Latino voters to the GOP. Gen Z voters also did a 180 and overwhelmingly backed the Democratic candidates after backing Trump last year. Overall, only 37% of voters approve of the job he is doing.

These numbers are abysmal and it's the only way a man like Jay Jones can get elected to the top law enforcement office in the state, despite his sociopathic comments about his opponents' children being publicly leaked. It's not just "blue state" statewide offices either. Down ballot, Republicans have lost 11 seats in the Virginia House Delegates, taking the Democrats' 51-49 majority to 62-38. In Georgia, Democrats defeated Republican incumbents in statewide races for Public Service Commissioner. In Pennsylvania, they are sweeping judicial races across the board.

MAGA appears to be repeating the same errors of the 2018 midterm election cycle, denying that Trump is an albatross around their necks by not delivering what the people want. They went on to lose 41 House seats that year.
I suspect it was already in the cards that we lose the house in 2026.

That's O.K. because that takes away the "they had the whole government for four years" argument that will happen in 2028 otherwise.

Washington is in chaos and not just because of Trump.

I like that.

Gas is not down here in King county Washington, the county of Seattle. Last time I filled up it was around $4.35/gallon.
Because of corrupt Democrats.

I just paid $2.58. That's what you moonbats get for consistently voting against your own best interests. You get fucked, and not in an enjoyable way.

You guys need a Republican governor, very badly.

Virginia is purple, genius. But the areas bordering Maryland in northern Virginia are what won it.

Youngkin winning was a perfect culmination of pissed off parents and voters voting on parent's rights in the schoolhouse.

But do go on. People who call other people 'stupid' have no argument of their own.
Dumbfuck, what is the political party of the current Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General of Virginia?

Tell us, dumbfuck.

Your anger is consuming you. I'll be off gaming now.

Given the electoral variability of a state like Virginia, it is neither reliably red nor blue.

Now run along.

On the positive side, Trump is no longer shrieking that Black immigrants are eating pet cats and dogs in Ohio.
I think he dropped that as soon as he won. I certainly haven't heard any more of that since he's been in office.

Have there even been any major ICE actions in Ohio?

Which is just one example of how full of bullshit and hot air he is.

Stop being a ******* moron.
Elections have consequences.

Everyone knew that Biden's anti-fossil fuel policies were at an end and the market reacted predictably.

ON Election Day 2024 the price of fuel was at the second highest peak for the year, well over $4.

What you label 'moronic' is merely the uncomfortable (for you) truth.

Meanwhile, Trump made it plain that it would take AT LEAST a year, not 2/3rds of a year to begin turning stuff around.
And why should anyone believe that?

I started this thread on May 13th. Because I could see what was coming. And I knew that no - people will not suffer for Trump. People don't have 1 year of more to wait for him to get off his fat ass, off the golf course, and start fulfilling his promises. Which were all lies and bullshit. Especially from a guy with no track record for success. Six personal bankruptcies, and then he crashed the American economy, and a lot of the world's with his inept, incompetent handling of a major pandemic.

People aren't going to suffer for Trump when he says his #1 priority is his new ballroom.

Yep, there it is. Democrats trend downward for a year and they consider it just a momentary diversion. Trump suffers a little bad news or less than stellar news for a few weeks long before reasonable to do so and Taz is ready to give up and thrown in the towel.
That's because Hispanics are traditionally a Democratic bloc. Trump lured them away with lies. Now they're seeing the truth.

What a retarded reading. You don't thing the voters see the Republican Do-Nothing Congress?

Stop. Being. A. *******. Moron.

I already posted in this thread my past posts from 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 all showing Biden's gas price consistently around $2.79.

Post #103 and #104. Go look.

Any economy doesn't turn on a dime folks.......~S~

15th post
How's the price of cement?
Bidenflation hit it pretty ******* hard.

Biden's regulations also encourages the use of fly ash in concrete to meet carbon regulations. The Democrats want your house to be made out of toxic waste to solve an imaginary global warming crisis.
