On a Bannon War Room podcast, a NM law professor, former prosecutor, and election integrity activist said that acting locally, at the County election commission level, is the key for anyone wishing to help prevent voter fraud in the upcoming midterm elections, by demanding of county commissioners that they ban the use of vote counting machines such as Dominion and ES&S, in favor of hand counting ballots. Ballots are counted by hand in Germany, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, and at least 53 other countries.

Also high on the list of confidence-building safeguards against systemic election fraud is the public observation of the signature verification process for mail-in ballots, an area which was especially contentious in the 2020 presidential election.

In the 2020 report “Signature Verification and Mail Ballots: Guaranteeing Access While Preserving Integrity: A Case Study of California’s Every Vote Counts Act,” a Stanford University Law School team recommends that election officials should:

“Ensure public observers have sufficient access to the signature verification process. Public observers must be allowed “sufficiently close access” to verify whether county officials are following established procedures for verifying whether ballot return ID envelope signatures match those in a voter’s registration file.”

This would mean that an observer from each political party would have “sufficiently close access” to discern whether a signature matched or not. Where there are questions, further contact with the voter by the election department is warranted.

The NM law professor, David Clements, of Las Cruces, says that voters can “save the country, by fixing their county.”

He urges citizens to confront their county election with clear demands to earn back the trust of voters in US elections, which is at an all-time low.

As controversy rages over mail-in voting, none other than Jimmy Carter has warned that large numbers of mail-in ballots are a recipe for mischief, saying:

But there's no evidence of willful incompetence. These are public servants. Even though they identify with a party, their belief is the process is part of our country's time honored tradition. And they bend over backwards to make sure the process is above reproach. And I say this as knowing both Republican and Democrat election officials and poll watchers.

The question you need to ask here is, "Why did this become an issue in 2020? When it wasn't an issue before?".

Just like Gore Trump refused to protect the public's trust in the election process. I think it would be hillarious if Trump becomes president again but he did massive damage to the public's trust by exploiting idiots.

US system doesn't seem to have fraud...

The last person I would be listening to on this is Steve Bannon... He has stated that GOP v Dem is a war and anything goes in a war... So he has ethically that undermining the election system is fair game in a war..

As for hand counting there is a few things:

• It is slower: Counting usually doesn't start until 9am the following day and in FPTP system it usually takes at least the whole day to get everything back in...
• There is very little in play counting... So no 53% in and the result looks like this.... Stuff...
• You need way more staff (temporary)
• For each election all votes are generally counted in the the one Room/Site... This would be congress and senator... So Senator/Presidential elections would first involve physically transporting the votes to the state counting center..
• Voting is usually on Friday with counting over the weekend (helps get staff)

Personally I prefer hand counting because of the romance of it...

The counters are sitting down counting... Those people looking over the barriers are members of public, but the two leaning in are 'Tallymen'... They are unofficial counters... Sometimes they are part of a party and sometimes they are media, just doing it for the fun...
They keep a count of each box(which comes from an area), they can compare the box to previous years and geographically where comes from... They use a crystal ball and try and figure the way the river is flowing...

How elections called?

The guy in the middle is called the Returning Officer... He is reading out the votes numbers which were all counted... It is an exact number...
There is a threshold for an automatic recount which the returning officer call if needed, no court case or Judge needed...
In hyper tight counts a Judge could be asked to come in to judge on some ballots, Judges have time and time again ruled on intent... What ever the Judge says the voter intended to vote, Is that clear? If yes vote stands..

Candidates are normally in the room, sometimes on stage or in the crowd...

What I am trying to say is the hand count system is quite different...

What I like about it, it slow moving, it happens in front of you... You can personally attend the count(which I have done many times)... It is a nervous time and you get see that candidates (especially in multiseaters) can be good friends with their families knowing each other well... Must remember there Dad (or Mom) work in the same place and are constantly traveling together... I think that is the bit where you appreciate that this is a job they work in..

The speed of it would be the big shock for Americans... It takes a couple of days, news programs go on for hours, reporting from around the country, everyman on deck, sports reporters, the weatherman might be at a count reporting on the result...

Hoffman is merely trying to create a database to match the Republican database. It will improve the Democrats' fundraising ability and will be able to operate outside the rules which limit the party's ability to fundraise.

The data trust structure allows for raising money from the private sector free from campaign finance limits. It would also facilitate pooling together data from outside groups and campaigns in real time, which is normally not allowed. The Republican Party currently has that structure and many top Democrats believe it offers a huge advantage.

It could be fixed 100% if "they" wanted to fix it. "they" like the human error, the machines online, Signatures ingored.

Credit card companies or Banks/IRS do not allow such shennanigans to go on. In many ways each vote is worth about $40000 ($6T/150M voters). Thats the prize money they are after. Normal Americans are down $250K to date under this 2020 takeover in lost wealth as a result. USA Teetering on financial collapse under $32T debt also.
