Activist who pushed 2020 election fraud claims convicted of election fraud

Voting is a right. Here are some other rights:

  • Being on a payroll
  • Having access to Government buildings
  • Being able to fly on an airplane
  • Purchasing a prescription
  • Accessing the Democrat National Convention.

All of those require personal identification for authentication. Where is your concern for these rights?

None being a right.

None being a right.
You sure about that? If people start getting denied access or entry to any of these you’d be saying something else. Ever hear of Civil Rights? These are all part of Civil Rights but even with Civil Rights comes a personal identifying authentication requirement.

The only votes I want to suppress are the votes of illegals, dead people, and additional voting from people who have already voted.

None of these are Constitutional rights. Voting is.

And you want to make it harder for people over your non existent concerns.

I want people’s Constitutional Rights protected the way Civil Rights are protected. What is your data that makes my concerns are non-existent? I’ve laid many examples on this thread why and how the voting system is vulnerable and how detection is not a sole determinant on the risk of illegal voting. What is your data besides periodic detection?

Investigation after investigation. Audit after audit. Lawsuit after lawsuit.....next to nothing. Even the Heritage Foundation says it's something like .ooo3 % out of billions of votes.

The analysis you site is based on successful attempts that resulted in Detection. The analysis says nothing about the non-existence of vulnerabilities.

Nothing is ever perfect.

I am not going to support making people go through additional steps to vote over the cries of a spoiled poor loser.

Huh..so it appears that this guy, in his zeal to prove Democratic election fraud..himself committed election fraud and identity fraud.
Now how stupid is that?
I would point out that the test worked, I guess, in that it proved that if you try to indulge in election fraud, you will get caught...which most of us knew already~

A jury convicted a Wisconsin man of election fraud and identity theft for requesting the ballots of Republican state Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Democratic Racine Mayor Cory Mason without their consent.

Jurors in Racine County on Tuesday found Harry Wait guilty of two misdemeanor election fraud charges and one felony identity theft charge following a two-day trial. He was acquitted of a second count of identity theft.

Wait leads a group that makes false election claims, including that Wisconsin’s elections are riddled with fraud and that President Donald Trump won the 2020 election. Trump lost Wisconsin in 2020 by about 21,000 votes.

Wait admitted in 2022 that he requested Vos’ and Mason’s ballots to try to prove that the state’s voter registration system is vulnerable to fraud. Wait told The Associated Press at the time that he wasn’t surprised he was charged.

A sentencing date has not been set. Wait’s attorney Joe Bugni did not respond to an email Wednesday asking whether he would appeal.

Wait, 71, faces up to six years in prison on the felony conviction and up to a year in jail on each of the misdemeanor convictions.

His conviction comes after a jury in 2024 found a former Milwaukee election official guilty of misconduct in office after she obtained three military absentee ballots using fake names and Social Security numbers in 2022. Like Wait, Kimberly Zapata argued that she was trying to expose vulnerabilities in the state’s election system.

Zapata was fined $3,000 and sentenced to a year of probation.
Republicans love to cheat.
