I watched a few minutes of the President's talk to those soldiers.

My impression was that he does not have dementia to a serious degree yet.

He was pretty sure of himself as he spoke.

Yes, he did misspeak on some issues.

That he has frequent senior moments is not a good sign, of course.

Contrary to many people's wishes, he may actually be in condition to run for reelection.

Sadly, however, by then his mental acuity may have deteriorated to an obvious degree.

When push comes to shove, however, it would be better for him and the nation that he NOT run again. (Although a lot of people would prefer him in office -- regardless of his mental abilities -- than to have another Trump presidency. They know that the Dem bigwigs could control the situation, just as they are doing now.)
