What makes someone a “Conservative”?

Is the following an economic system conservatives support?

"1. A private bank is granted the right to create money

2. The government borrows that money into existence

3. The government spends the money, stimulating the economy

4. The public is taxed to pay interest on the debt to the private bank

5. The bank collects interest on money it created from nothing

6. The debt is never fully repaid; it is rolled over perpetually."

The Fed is owned by the government.

What I am saying is that Asians still face a glass ceiling for higher level executive positions in this country

What the data generally shows (U.S. context):
  • Asians are often well represented in professional and technical roles, especially in fields like engineering and finance.
  • But they are less represented in executive leadership, including CEO positions, compared to that pipeline.
  • This pattern is sometimes referred to as the “bamboo ceiling”—a term used in organizational sociology to describe barriers to advancement for Asians.
Says who? On avg they make more. Why is that bad in your eyes? Actually on avg they make the most. You’re never happy. You’re just a miserable human.

Please post the legislation conservatives passed to kill collective bargaining. You can’t so you won’t because it doesn’t exist.

We are anti illegal immigrant. Why don’t you tell the truth? You can’t because your talking point will fail.
We said the same thing. You agree they are not conservatives.

Great in spite of the grifter.i still gave hope he will be put against the wall by Marines for his J6 treason.
Obama committed treason when he cancelled the intelligence report stating Trump was not working with the Russians and ordered a new report stating he was working with the Russians. He did that to overthrow the governnment and Trump was elected.

In my opinion since this is an opinion forum and facts rarely matter:

1) Limited Govt. States and local rule over Federal rule when possible, which should lead to fiscal responsibility.

2) Personal responsibility over Govt is here to help

3) Support of Free Markets. Reasonable taxes. Reasonable regulation

4) Traditional values aka no furries, trans crap,
DEI

5) Strong and advanced military

6) Support strong border security and contolled
Legal immigration

7) Support strong law enforcement none of this cashless bail and such. Back the Blue

8) Support 2A

9) End birthright citizenship for illegals

10) Death penalty for convicted violent criminals

11) Pride in being an American

12) Reduce perpetual social programs and create a system of reward for work not for gaming the system

13) There are only two genders

Doesn’t sound so bad

🤷‍♂

Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan would disagree with your authoritarianism.

Goldwater AKA "Mr. Conservative" shifted the Republican Party away for the "Eastern Establishment" toward a more Libertarian grassroots POV that eventually led to Reagan being elected.

He gave this speech in Congress: "To Be Conservative"
...In all honesty, I must admit that the birth of the so-called "new right" is a direct reaction to years of increasing social activism by the liberal side of the religious house. Within that development lies a very serious threat to our liberty.

One of the great strengths of our political system always has been our tendency to keep religious issues in the background. By maintaining the separation of church and state, the United States has avoided the intolerance which has so divided the rest of the world with religious wars. Throughout our 200-plus years, public policy debate has focused on political and economic issues, on which there can be compromise.

James Madison, once wrote that "If men were angels, no government would be necessary."
Well, Madison certainly recognized that humans are not angels. He realized that they tend to group together in nar- row interest groups, which he called factions. And he wrote extensively in the federalist papers about how the Constitution should protect us from the abuses of various factions.....

....I, too, believe that we Americans should return to our traditional values concerning morality, family closeness, self-reliance, and a dav's work for a day's pay. These are the values our forebears clung to as they built this Nation into the citadel of freedom it is today.

And I, too, have been pleased with the swing of the pendulum for in recent years to the conservative, moral end of the spectrum.

But I object to certain groups jumping on that pendulum and then claiming that they caused it to swing in the first place.

And I am frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C," and "D.'' Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me?

And I am more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every rollcall in the Senate.

I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of conservatism.

This unrelenting obsession with a particular goal destroys the perspective of many decent people with whom I think I agree on most issues. In the quest for moral righteousness they have become easy prey to manipulation and misjudgment.

I will settle for what Jesus always preached. Help the least among us. He was ALL about that. I dont think a liberal NOR conservative follows that.
I think it was also in reference to the individual. You can give to the least. I can give the least. But it is on our terms, not the governments.

Do you know what happens when you farm out your charity to a faceless entity like the United States Government?

You assuage your guilt, stroke your ego, and nothing ever gets done because the bureaucracy only cares about power.

I'm all about helping the least among us, but on My terms. Not yours, not Jack down the street, and some faceless government.

As I said im best off NOT adhering to any party. Not my cup of tea.

Not true, and illegal immigrants per capital commit one crime to five by citizens.
Irrelevant. Who commits more crimes is not the point. The point is that it makes zero sense, given the level of crime we already have, to import more criminals from other countries. And before you say it, no, I know that only a minority of the illegals are criminals or potential criminals. But if we had a more secure border and devised a more stringent asylum and immigration process for more in-depth vetting, perhaps Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, et al. might still be alive.

We can at least do that much if it means fewer murder victims, can't we?
