You know I honestly don't get it. I know that they both love America but Trump seems to be putting Trump first lately and ignoring his signature line of putting America first and DeSantis definitely could get the job done just as well.

What is Trump's problem with DeSantis? That's easy (no pun intended).

Trump is set on becoming President again. DeSantis is a political threat.

Replace 'DeSantis' with any other name and have that person be in the same situation as DeSantis, and its the same thing.

Trump attacks those he believes to be a threat - always has.

He doesn't play well with others, even in his own party, unless they understand HE is the 'top dog' and what he says goes.

He didn't even like Pence getting too much attention, stealing his thunnder, so to speak. He often undercut Pence verbally of Pence disagreed or voiced his own ideas / mind.

(Being forceful and running 'rough-shod' over Democrats, swamp critters, Washington Establishment RINOs, & fake news media doesn't earn you.many allies in DC...just the opposite.)

DeSantis is a lot like Trump, IMO, except without the 'mean tweets' and 'lightning rod baggage', which makes DeSantis a little more appealing ... and more of a threat to Trump.

Trump, again IMO, believes he will have to 'take down' DeSantis instead of just beating him and leaving him a strong ally. I believe this would be a mistake, but what I think doesn't matter.

You know Trump - he will lash out, attack, anyone he believes is a threat to what he wants. He will end up.beong divisive and try to turn his supporters 'angrily' / hostile-ly against DeSantis.

His ego and the fact that he keeps bashing him. Trump OR DeSantis would be a great choice for our country. That's why I'm more pro-DeSantis than pro-Trump any more. DeSantis doesn't have Trump's immaturity.

Trump has EARNED the chance to run again. I like what DeSantis has done and if he wins the nomination I'll vote for him but regardless of his maturity level, he is still an unknown quantity. He's an Ivy League grad and could very easily turn swamp once elected. That is concerning for me.
Add to that the fact that the Democrat's media arm will attack him with Trump's history plus anything they can come up with against him. If they can't find anything, they'll make shit up. There is no longer any need for facts.

We now live in a post factual, post truth America. The narrative is all that matters and if that can't get it done, they always have their mail in ballots. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying things are hopeless. They CAN be defeated but I don't know that it can be done at polling places that they've thoroughly corrupted. It might require massive, organized civil disobedience. Purely peaceful, so that their illegitimate POTUS can't call out the troops over another "insurrection". You'd be amazed at how easily DC could be given the middle finger. Just refuse to obey. The key is organization and security in numbers.

Some people don't realize that a large number of those that voted DEM in the 2020 Presidential election didn't vote FOR Biden, they voted AGAINST Trump.

I don't think it's possible for that many people to hate Trump.
What happened is they rigged voting machines and recounted mail-in ballots several times to get the numbers they needed.
Mass-mailings of ballots mailed out to the wrong zipcodes meant that Dem states had plenty of fake ballots to pad their totals.
