I don't know if the Dems have a plan, but mine would be:

1. Russia gets the fuck out
2. Land taken by each country is returned to pre-invasion lines
3. Frozen Russian money is spent to rebuild Ukraine (including piling up destroyed Russian military assets on their side of the border)
4. Each country who contributed to Ukraine can send construction crews to assist in the process, and each will be paid as a percentage of their contributions to the war
5. Any frozen assets remaining (doubtful, sorry) are returned to Russia
6. No sanctions are lifted, although no doubt America would do so because of weak leadership
7. Putin can go fuck himself

That would be a good starting point for negotiations, with very little wiggle room.

That's not realistic for many reasons. The people of Crimea have voted. They overwhelmingly voted to secede after the 2014 coup. They also voted to join the Russian Federation. And other oblasts followed suit. They have right to self determination.

Actually, there are still 19,5 million people on the Kievan controlled territory, and absolute majority of them are Russians (Ukrainians are, in fact, Russians too). And yes, it was NATO expansion that turned some of them in the anti-Russian terrorist and endangered other.
