What is The Best Pie For Thanksgiving?

It looks great...but PLEASE tell me those green things are peppers and NOT pickles.

Green things? Those were either olives or jalapeno peppers.
No pickles ever go near any pizza of mine.
Inside the stuffed dough was mozzarella cheese wrapped in alternations of spanish chorizo and mortadella.

Only pumpkin pie chez boe this year. We only have it once a year, so that's that. My sister wanted to bring a pecan pie - but I asked her not to so that we don't disturb the sanctity and purity of the pumpkin.

Pumpkin pies are disgusting things we’ve been tricked into thinking are a necessary part of thanksgiving

Pretty much any other pie is objectively better

I could definitely go for a peanut butter pie, but I'm not sure I want it TOPPED with peanuts and I'm not sure about serving it with Thanksgiving dinner.

To me, pumpkin, chocolate, and apple pie is good, but another good one that hasn't been mentioned yet is egg custard pie. :) :) :)

Egg custard or any custard is always good. I considered Chess pie, Buttermilk pie, Pumpkin Cream pie, meringue pie (both pumpkin and sweet potato), but all seemed a bit out of place or passe for the occasion. Meringue has been done to death.

Banana cream pie? :dunno:

I love a good banana creme. The banana is highly underappreciated. Might be interesting to interleave some crunchy dried banana chips in among the sliced banana.
Maybe with a PICKLE on the side (just kidding).
