Zone1 What is a Rabbi?

Interesting conversations, but I am perplexed by two other questions that have been raised: (1) Is Rabbinical tradition specifically for the benefit of men? (2) Are Jews allowed to have personal opinions about their religion?

In Biblical times, rabbis introduced/practiced financial protection and spiritual roles for women. The role of the rabbi was to benefit Jewish society, not just males.

In Jewish society when comes to the religious stuff outside of the home men lead that part ..women have their own very important role to play....
