What Form Of Government Is Better Than A Constitutional Republic?

I'm ok with a constitutional republic for now. But plurality elections, and the partisan idiocy they create, aren't serving us well. Also, the "constitutional" part requires real public support, and that's fading.

In my view we're headed in the wrong direction. I suspect we'll go through another round of fascism, worldwide , before I kick

I think these slack jawed yokels will argue that living in a dictatorship is not as good as living in a democracy, even though that is, apparently, entirely subjective.
At the same time, they'll even argue one form of government cannot be superior to another because all metrics are subjective.
Whoever would have thought?

So tell me you really think that what makes YOU happy makes everyone happy?

Get over yourself
As though I drew up the happiness rankings and set the metrics to determine them.

What a hoot.

So then you let OTHER people decide what makes you happy. You strive to follow other people in everything you do.

Happiness is 100% subjective and being such means that as a measure of the quality of any government, happiness is utterly worthless.

I decide what makes me happy not some other people I don't know, and certainly not the ******* government.

I love how you keep running away from freedom. Too, the pursuit of happiness was a major reason the form of US government was set up, supposedly. It's a trifle ungracious of you to your slave owning, white, male founders to ignore that, don't you think?

So, Blues Man, you don't like happiness and you don't like freedom as metrics for the best form of government. How then would you determine various forms of governments' qualities?

Happiness is too subjective a measure to be reliable.

What makes you happy does not make everyone happy.

You like being told what do to by the ******* government. So of course you think the ******* government is a source of your happiness.......................................

If you like seeing a bunch of kids in the streets passed out or puking from their daily booze binges, Iceland is your kind of 'happiness'. They've just now got around to doing something about all that 'happiness' stuff, when they led the world in teenage alcoholism and drug abuse.

And you are utterly incapable of comprehending what I am saying.

First in case you haven't noticed I am and have always been very critical of the US. But I also do not believe I could have achieved what I have anywhere else. \I don't know where else mixed race kid orphaned at 14 who dropped out of high school and lived on the streets for 3 years and declared an emancipated minor at 17 could end up running a successful construction business and end up owning a dozen rental properties and retire financially independent at the age of 51.

The government didn't make that possible. In fact I would say the government utterly failed me and if anything hampered me.

And no one living in any society is completely free. You just have a different idea what freedom is. I for one do not want to be told what books I can't read and that I can't own a gun or do what I want on my own property

Wow are you really that dumb?

Saying that happiness is subjective in now way means I "don't like happiness".

What makes you think you can define happiness for someone other than yourself?

That's the issue that statists and majoritarians can't get through their heads. Everyone has different ideas about what constitutes "the good life". The only way to respect that is to protect, as much as possible, our right to live as we wish. But the modern liberal sentiment (shared by both parties) is that government can, and should, be the "decider" on most social issues. They aren't content with leaving us free to work it out voluntarily. They want to decide, by majority vote or state decree, what the good life looks like, and force everyone to get in line.

Democracy, anyone?

One thing these two nations have in common is that they're racially homogeneous. They share a similar history, culture, and lifestyle.

Most every country should START out that way. Most every country's ideal should be close to this. That they don't STAY that way is probably largely due to government interference and progressive social engineering.

Multiculturalism leads to multi-confusionism and mult-chaotic conditions. Water is best when it remains water. Oil is best when it remains oil. But try mixing the two.

Well, multiculturalism is what the US was founded on. If you want your own country, with nothing but people just like you, start your own.

Diversity is a disadvantage everywhere in the universe except in the minds of social engineering globalist politicians.

True. Here's what that Multiculturalism looked like:

Christians of various denominations.
Europeans of various nations of Western Europe.

Germans intermingling with the Dutch and the English. Baptists interacting with the Lutherans.

Well, multiculturalism is what the US was founded on.

Wrong. The original 13 colonies were not multicultural. They were all based in the culture of western Europe. America was about the OPPORTUNITY for all to come to America for ONE THING: the freedom promised by the American way of life of living a self-actualized existence free of undue government influence, not to bring 43 different cultures of their own all here.

People immigrated here to adopt the AMERICAN set of values and way of life which is what made us the best and strongest, not dozens of microcosms all battling for territory within the states.

If you want your own country, with nothing but people just like you, start your own.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson already did that. And they called it America. Then they invited people from all over the world seeking the better life we offered to come here and share in the Great American Experiment.

Every strong, stable, happy country in the world has a unified people under one plan, one system, one goal, every failing country is a mish-mosh of jumbled cultures and people all rolled together into a heaving mess of incompatible ideals, values, standards, cultures and languages.

When you have a mix of cultures and identities, you have none.

People who stand for everything end up standing for nothing.

This is the America of today created by progressives that we see failing before our eyes.
