You only go to prison if you break our laws. Want to reduce the prison population, reduce crime. There is no other way.

With that in mind, why should I vote Republican again? Because they offer words of encouragement?

There are better deals on the table. Some I can use. Some I think will immediately improve society. Words of encouragement--you can join a self-help club for that.

I found the OP title offensive, it suggest blacks and minorities are somehow inferior and need hand outs. That's not been my experience. I frequently hire people based on skills and experience and I don't hire anyone for less than $85k. As it turns out I end up hiring minorities and women more than 2 to 1 over white males. Its not intentional I just hire the best candidates and that's how it worked out. I hired a woman a couple of months ago via a phone interview and only just found out she's black. Meh I don't care if she's purple and from another planet she's been brilliant. Race, gender its completely meaningless. Conservatives are just not the racists Democrats say we are but that doesn't stop them from lying and fomenting racial division.

I think it has more to do with Obama money.

Not a lot of blacks really care about politics, so the extent of their knowledge is that Democrats are for the poor people and Republicans are for the rich. If you ask any of them, most would probably give you that answer.
