Blacks are individuals. They all have different brains. They think differently, prefer different things, have different ideas, don't necessarily like fried chicken and watermelon...or... maybe they do? There is not a stereotype we can apply to all blacks because their skin pigment is darker than others. This is quite simply, ignorance.

As a voting demographic, the black vote favors Democrat candidates historically. It's because the Democrats actively promote programs (free stuff) specifically targeted to the black community. Marketing 101. It doesn't matter that the programs never come to fruition or if they do, they don't work as promised, or they haven't changed the economic prosperity of blacks in any meaningful way since 1965.... all that can be rolled into a spitwad and blown at the mean old republicans who you can "never trust" because your daddy and granddaddy said so!

Let us break this apart.
1) Are you saying the narratives I outline are my creations? That this is how I think?

If I can provide real life counter examples to both of them, and show you posters that has exclaimed this, I think that should prove that these "narratives" are neither my creation nor reflects my thinking.

No, Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton are not typical leaders. Their rise was more of an off shoot of the civil rights movement and a lurch towards liberalism during the 60's and 70's.

Yes, most Black civil rights leaders were conservatives(or of the social conservative bent. since the actual term may not have existed.)

Pretty much all Black leaders before the 40's were conservatives. A noted exceptions were WEB Dubois and his group, and even they advocated the concepts of self-sufficiency and promoted the need for education throughout the Black community.

So if you really think about it, you have a strange dynamic.
A group of people that historically chose conservatives as their local leaders but do not vote for the more conservative Party nationally.
