What can republicans do for blacks?

Well, history was trending that way anyways.

Which is why you had support for such government policy anyways.

Do you really think that the men of 21st century American would or could put the women of 21st century American back into the 1950s Kitchen again?
Conservative men?

Yes

Do you have anything to base that on besides your self serving bias against Conservative men?

Their actions speak for themselves

What actions are those?

Not wanting women in combat?
Not wanting women in the military at all. Remember how conservatives screamed over women in the service academies? Female pilots? Women on ships?

So, you want women in combat?

This is racist, or wrong?

Why?

Explaining to your daughter how important it is to find a good husband?

That is neither racist not wrong.
do? give them their freedom of course. In the Republican 1950's black teenage unemployment was less than white teenage unemployment!! It was Ronald Reagan who said, "isn't welfare a kind of slavery."

Hate to tell you buddy, but you have to exchange something for a vote. No one is going to vote for you if you offer nothing.

Blacks are already free. You are trying to argue that voting Democrat is slavery. If that is the case, then your "gift" is the same as the third tier parties as well.

Why not argue Blacks should vote Green or Libertarian as well? Do they not gain the same "freedom" the Republicans offer? How is it different?

Republican is an actual party. Green and Libertarian are who people vote for when they're not going to vote for one of the major parties. They have no chance at winning anything.

They are parties still. They campaign, and even make campaign promises.

"They have no chance at winning anything." Yep. That is why they make the perfect other option. You are not going to gain anything from your vote by choosing them. How does that differ from voting for someone that offers nothing to begin with?

At least the Black voter is off the Democratic Plantation--Like Cynthia McKinney!

Black people (like any other people) are concerned about making their vote count. That's why we will always be a two party system. Why vote for a candidate that belongs to a party that has no chance at winning?

So even if we don't agree with everything our candidate has to say, we vote for them anyway even if a candidate from a secondary party holds values closer to ours.

For the most part, we don't vote our party or candidate in because we are so behind them, we vote to keep the other party or candidate out.

Normally true. But then there are times the party put up a total joke, or someone you voted for before that isn't what you want.

When that happens, the "other option" is the best option.

The only way the "other option" has a chance (or we have any chance at breaking out of the two party system) is if both parties piss off their constituents at the same time. We are seeing some of that with the Republican party evident by the front runners, however the Democrat party seems like they will never change or fight amongst themselves. If anything, they are drifting more left all the time. Their second favorite candidate is an admitted Socialist. Their current President was supported by the US Communist party both elections.

Have you really looked at what composes the Democrats. Oddballs and societal rejects. They were thrown together over time and seem to have a hard on for what they consider the establishment.

Think about it: Unions, environmentalists, socialist and commies, liberal professors and scientists, the poor, those who are unhappy with their lives, entitlement junkies and disabled laborers--the list is extensive and goes on.

PS--you probably won't see much disention between them on the surface because of their "common foe". But breaking them up is not a hard task.

I love how a bunch of white conservatives , who probably never have even had a conversation with a black american, have all the answers on why they don't vote for the GOP .

Yeah, I kinda know how you feel. I have conversations about integration with white liberals who live in the whitest part of town their money can afford, and tell us who live in black neighborhoods how to get along with blacks.

On the flip side of that, it's funny to see when their children wander out of their whitebread landscape, with heads full of nothing but lib propaganda, and they suddenly have to deal with urban blacks.

Well, it's funny when they are only dumbfounded, not when they are utterly destroyed.

Suppose we all worked for the means that required all American children receive an equal education?

Or they come around and try to act black. Blacks laugh the most at those wanna be's. I can't tell you how many times I've seen these white guys pull up to the stop light near my house. They have the rap music on but not too loud. Then they see some blacks walking down the street or pull up next to them in a car, and they turn the car stereo on full blast and start bobbing their head like a chicken. LOL! The blacks just look at them like WTF???? LOL!

Not all American children need an "equal" education.
So who decides that black children do not need or deserve an equal education opportunity?

Very interesting leap of logic there.

IN the many posts I have made on this subject, I have been clear that the "children" in question would make that call.

Repeal Truancy Laws Now.

So, how would the children make the call, by vote or just how would they indicate they would like an equal education?

I think a lot of minorities see the government as something that gives them special priveliges such as preferred hiring in both government and private sector. If The question is what republicans can do for blacks the answer should be nothing more than anyone else in this country.

I kind of tried to give you a hint in my response, when I called for the removal of TRUANCY LAWS NOW.

Thus, young adults who realize that they are completely uninterested in school, could just stop going.

This would remove many of worst behavior problems from schools, improving the quality of the education of those with any interest.

Also, we need to fight degree inflation, that is driving the increasing requirements for degrees for lower and lower level jobs.

Is asking for an equal education asking for special privileges? Should all American children receive an equal educational opportunity or should the children of the elite receive a better education?

They have just as equal of an education as anybody else. The problem is that with the education they have, many of them drop out of school. So better teachers would make the difference?

If you want to work on black education, you first have to solve the single-parent family problem that plagues the black community. Parents are instrumental in a child's education which doesn't happen all that much in those black schools. In white or otherwise middle-class schools, parents are involved.
