(1) Define your market
(2) Match location with market and cost
(3) Surround yourself with people that know more than you do
(4) Integrity of product and or service is priority number one
(5) Competitive in all aspects is vital
(6) Never become complacent
(7) Stay abreast of technology, automation, and innovation ( your competitors certainly will )

Add 2% to your prices, pull 2% out of your COGS and pull 1% from your SGA. Just added 5% to your bottom line which probably doubled it. Every business can pull these small % changes but most entrepreneurs don't have the guts to raise prices and Arendt willing to methodically drive costs out of their business.
