What a surprise

Roberts is bad enough but he at least has boundaries which he showed when he voted not to overturn the decision of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. What is chilling is that 4 members of the Supreme Court would overturn a state decision. If Barrett is in that mode then we could have a judicial tyranny. At that point the Supreme Court should be expanded.

Yep, time to steal back the two seats Moscow Mitch stole and one additional for good measure. Expand SCOTUS to 12 justices.
13.

13 is better but I'd be good with 12. That way it becomes 6 against 6 and there is a higher likelihood of compromise to avoid a deadlock. Trump and his creepy reptilian sidekick in the Senate have politicized our courts and selection processes to the point of no return. President Biden can start a correction by appointing 3 or 4 MODERATE judges slightly left of center.

Kavanaugh, John Roberts, and Amy Barrett all worked on the Florida recount in 2000 for George W. Bush which might inspire Trump to contest "late arriving ballots" and ask SCOTUS to once again install a GOP POTUS in spite of majority choice.

"Minutes before the US Senate confirmed Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday evening, the court issued a 5-3 decision to throw out mail ballots in Wisconsin that are postmarked by Election Day but arrive afterward.

"The ruling by the court’s conservative majority is a sharp reversal from April, when the Supreme Court allowed 80,000 late-arriving votes to be counted in Wisconsin’s primary."

Brett Kavanaugh just laid out his plan to help Trump steal the election

"But the ruling’s significance goes well beyond Wisconsin.

"In a chilling concurring opinion, Justice Brett Kavanaugh echoed President Trump’s rhetoric that ballots postmarked by Election Day but arriving afterward—which are legally required to be counted in at least 18 states—could lead to perceptions of voting malfeasance and signaled he might be prepared to throw out such ballots in any post-election dispute."

Bull shit. Judicial tyranny my ass. You sure weren't concerned when the liberal members of the SC were running the show.

Now there are enough Constitutional Justices to make a difference.

Guess you will just have to suck it up.

FLA 2000 is yet another TRUTH and SCIENCE issue for the Dems...

Algore said if the SPOILED BALLOTS were proportional to party registration, then he won. The USA Today did a recount, and found that.... they were not proportional. The Democrat County Canvas Boards had DELIBERATELY TOSSED BLACK REPUBLICAN BALLOTS.....

" The Miami Herald and USA Today report in today’s editions that Bush would have expanded his 537-vote victory to a 1,665-vote margin if the recount ordered by the Florida Supreme Court had gone ahead under the most inclusive standards, in which even partial punches and dimples would have been counted.

and hence the SPOILED BALLOTS were NOT PROPORTIONAL to party registration as Algore assumed. The Dems had ALREADY CHEATED and GOT BUSTED FOR CHEATING by deliberately disenfranchising BLACK REPUBLICAN VOTERS......

" African-American Republicans who voted were 54 to 66 times more likely than the average African American to cast a non-voted ballot

So the TRUTH of the DATA from FLA 2000 is that the Democrats CHEATED by DELIBERATELY DISENFRANCHISING BLACK REPUBLICANS

RACIST IS AS RACIST DOES

2000 was not stolen. Only in conspiracy heads.

There are 13 appellate courts, one justice for each circuit. In 1869 the court was increased to 9 justices to accommodate 9 appeals courts; there's sound precedent for that today.

Oh it was stolen sure as shit. Katherine "Cruella" Harris and Jebbers put the fix in. Then SCOTUS signed, sealed and delivered a bogus president. Of course, I'd take Junior $hrub right now over the current pResident every day and twice on Sunday.
That argument is long since over.

It was not stolen no matter how much you stamp your feet and deny it

Yes, I bet you have yer gray uniform all pressed and jack boots spit polished.
Uh. Those were Democrats. You're a bit confused.
Yes, they were, now they identify as Repubs...
No, dear. The filth being violent and burning cities are Democrats. Those aren't Trump supporters in Portland, Minneapolis and Philadelphia tearing up stuff.
They are not Democratic Party member lovers either-duh..I guess it is too hard for you to imagine people not supporting any office holders and being against them no matter the party affiliation....
Nice try, but no sale. Your Democrat leaders in those cities allow the filth to run wild so they can blame Trump. We all know how the game works and so do you.
You fail yet again, I have zero leaders that are Democrats or Repubs or any party affiliation...The filth is due to human nature and the leaders have ignored it long enough that it became a problem.......
Yep, Democrats run Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, etc. We agree.

What a load of poo............

Libs are already stealing ballots and trying to allow unsigned or wrongly signed ballots with no post mark to be counted weeks after elelction---with the supreme court already forced to get involved and you want to blame the supreme court who are just doing their jobs.

Here's a newsflash, if you don't want the Supreme court involved--STOP CHEATING.

FYI, BUSH won every recount in florida despite the dems trying to cheat and miscount them. All of the recounts before during and after the election showed that Bush won.

There's nothing chilling about that. The court does it all the time, and lefties have cheered them for doing so.

What's chilling is your desire to change the court simply because it doesn't rule your way.

Recently I heard some conservative militia members offer an opinion on a civil war between left and right, but I wonder which side they would take in a conflict between rich and poor i.e., between creditor and debtor?o_O

Democracy and Debt | Michael Hudson

"Book V of Aristotle’s Politics describes the eternal transition of oligarchies making themselves into hereditary aristocracies – which end up being overthrown by tyrants or develop internal rivalries as some families decide to 'take the multitude into their camp' and usher in democracy, within which an oligarchy emerges once again, followed by aristocracy, democracy, and so on throughout history.

"Debt has been the main dynamic driving these shifts – always with new twists and turns.

"It polarizes wealth to create a creditor class, whose oligarchic rule is ended as new leaders ('tyrants' to Aristotle) win popular support by cancelling the debts and redistributing property or taking its usufruct for the state."

Messing with State elections is all GOP. Do any of the justices realize they can be impeached?
The GOP would find it almost impossible to win national elections if everyone who wanted to vote was able to have their ballot counted, so their only viable option is to suppress as many votes as possible. As far as SCOTUS impeachment in concerned...

Failed thread.

The only people stealing anything are Biden and Harris....stealing the very few I.Q. points the left has remaining.

Trump and the Republicans are the ones who want to disenfranchise voters and not count those who are able to vote. Trump supporters are the morons.
