Were Iraqis really better off under Saddam?

Saddam was a brutal dictator who needed killing whether you like the end result or not. The failure was leaving before things were stable.
There are dozens of brutal dictators all over the world that need killing. (many who we support with weapons and money).

Why haven't we invaded and eliminated the psychotic midget leader of N. Korea?.... hint: His country has no natural resources......like oil or natural gas. .....

Hint...NK has nukes and the backing of China.

Why didn't Bush invade Zimbabwe? They don't have nukes, they don't have the support of any major power (China supports as much as it feels like, but wouldn't go in to help Zim in the event of a war.)

You mean the place America has ignored for decades?

So why has the US ignored Zimbabwe, but not Iraq? What's the difference between the two? Both had dictators (one still does) that leads to the people of the country to starve and die.

Four OPEC countries in 2001 were anti-American. Venezuela, Iraq, Libya, and Iran.
Not true. These countries aren´t "anti-American". Instead, the US did harm to them in the framework of its imperialist foreign policy. Every country, the US has "liberated", developed a natural anti-American mood but the cause of this mood is the US foreign policy and nothing else.

Yes, they were anti-American.

Chavez hated the Americans, Gadaffi hated the Americans, Hussein hated the Americans and the Iranian govt hates the Americans.

How is that not anti-American? Yes, US foreign policy did this, but if you are a foreign country and you hate the foreign policy of that country, that's just about all there is.

And the some, importantly, just happen to be the government who make the decisions.

Were the Libyan people better off under Gadhafi?

at least with Iraq the people weren't just abandoned once Saddam was gone. unlike that chicken shit Obama, who takes out Gadhafi and then leaves the poor people to fend for themselves. And we are now paying for that with all these so called, refugees , who are mainly, FIGHTING aged men invading our country and other countries.

What decisions? Decisions to be sanctioned or attacked by the US?

Given that in Iraq, regular troops and not Al-Qaeda were Nato´s ground forces, you could say that. But the long period of daily terrorist attacks and abductions in Iraq proves the opposite.

He killed anyone who made so much as a peep against his regime; often their families as well.

What decisions? Are we having a discussion about what decisions world governments make? Are you serious?
