Well, it's official

The US has voted with Russia in a UN resolution, and against Ukraine.

U.S. votes against a U.N. resolution urging Russia's withdrawal from Ukraine

We're now on Putin's side. We're the bad guys, comrades.

Was this the final vote on the final version of the resolution?
No. It wasn't
You omitted the rest of the story, which amounts to a lie.

The United States, reflecting the extraordinary turnaround under President Donald Trump, joined Russia in voting against a Europe-backed Ukrainian resolution. The U.S. then abstained from voting on its own resolution after Europeans succeeded in amending it.

-The US did not vote with Russia here.
-The US did not vote against the resolution.

All you people can do is lie.

During the Cold War, large and influential Communist parties in Western Europe maintained ties with Moscow, ranging from sympathetic to subservient. The United States kept its distance and in many cases supported their opponents financially and politically.

Now Europe is confronted with a loose alliance of Russian-leaning parties, this time on the other end of the spectrum: the far right. And the U.S. government has taken the opposite approach: a warm embrace.

By doing so, the United States is condoning Russia’s subversion of the postwar Europe that America helped create and secure. The parties Russia favors are hostile to the European Union, opposed to higher military spending and receptive to Russia’s arguments about the recklessness of NATO expansion and the need to assert right-wing Christian values.

Should these parties and their populist cousins eventually dominate Europe — they are in government in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands and Slovakia, and making an impact in France and Germany — they could eviscerate NATO and geopolitically neuter if not subjugate Europe itself. That is certainly Russia’s hope.

That is trump's hope as well.

Read it again...

They voted against the European one and only abstained on the one they wrote...
They said in the very beginning they werent voting for one from Europe or Russia.

What a childish and limited view.

One can easily vote against a UN “resolution” about Russia without being on Putin’s “side.” If the President sees such finger-pointing as being deleterious to HIS ongoing efforts to negotiate a peaceful end to that war, he is free to vote against the resolution. )Probably more about the phrasing than about the truth of the matter.)

Personally, it seems clear that Russia — which did invade the sovereign nation of Ukraine — is primarily responsible for the war. But negotiating peace deals isn’t made any easier when you have to deal with meaningless UN “resolutions.”

Trump has already acceded to all Putin's demands, what is there to negotiate?

Whether or not Trump will publicly give Putin a hand job at the negotiating table, or will he just do that in private?

Your source:

" In a win for Ukraine on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion, the U.N. General Assembly on Monday refused to approve a U.S.-backed resolution that urged an end to the war without mentioning Moscow's aggression. Instead, it approved a European-backed Ukrainian resolution demanding Russia immediately withdraw its forces, which the Trump administration opposed."

The UN voted against peace.
No, the UN voted against aggression.

The problem is Mango Mussolini is trying to rewrite history to where Russia is the wronged party here.

And you bleach drinkers are all going along with it for some reason.

At the moment all that means is the resolution is non binding. Trump wants to recover $$$$$ for our efforts to save Ukraine.

Why? Most of that money was spent with American contractors creating American jobs.

Only a Trump Cultist could think, "Ukraine needs to sign over her mineral rights AFTER Trump has sold them out and given up the territory where the minerals are to Russia!"

Not according to the article.

BULLSHIT. All the US did was refuse to lay all the blame at Russia's feet as the EU has done, just infuriating Putin farther just when Trump is trying to resolve the conflict.

You don't resolve a conflict by selling out to the other side.

All the blame for this conflict SHOULD be laid at Russia's feet.

You've been saying that for years. Need I remind you that Russia was our ally in WWII and to this day, say what you want about Russia, but they defend their borders, keep out illegals and protect their traditions, culture and values. They are preserving who they are.

What if who they are sucks?

Not sure why you think being a xenophobic asshole is a good thing.

Meanwhile, Europe is a cesspool of ruin and decay with most every western country there falling apart from invasion from muslims. Maybe you should go to Europe and live there, I bet you'd love it.

Uh, wow, really? Why do I get the feeling you've never been to Europe.

Their cities are far safer than ours. Probably because they don't let any maniac who wants a gun have one.

And after the first abstention, and amendments to the Resolution, the USA voted WITH Russia.

STOP BELIEVING TRUMP'S LIES!!!
STOP GIVING THE TRAITOR COVER
