"We will be welcomed as liberators..."

Careful, Peach. You're trying to explain Iraqi history to Americans who don't even understand American history.

This won't end well for you.

I want no more blood spilled but whoa geeze if there is one time we need to jump in it is now.

Peach at least understands the League of Nations. You're just an asshole.

I want to know why any American is cheering on this bloody crew called ISIS.
Who is cheering for the terrorists? After six straight years of Republicans putting out "OBAMA'S WEAK!", "OBAMA'S INEPT!", "OBAMA'S GOT NO BALLS!", why are you surprised when the rest of the world believes you?

Sad. You really don't get it do you? If these maniacs get hold of Baghdad we have a whole lot of hurt coming our way.

Shias will hate us. Moderate Sunnis will hate us and ISIS will be beheading its way thru Iraq.

You will own this devastation.

You went back to being an American; on this I agree TinyDancer, but note, Maliki's regime is less than kind to the few Christians left in Iraq. Yes, ISIS/ISL is worse, but neither can be trusted.

What do you mean I am back to being American? What are you on?

I'm a dual citizen. Canuck and US. What's with your lie? Everyone knows this.

No lie, Maliki never controlled all of Iraq; US interests are to protect Kudis, and stop ISIS/ISL. Dual citizenship? So you are not in fact American.

Back to the topic, Iraq has had one military strongman after another since created in 1919; some tribal rule, but never unity between Shiites & Sunnis. Saddam was Sunni but secular. Thus, this was a slow train, always coming. the Kurds remember how the US & UK provided assistance after 1991; they remain are only friends in the piecemeal nation.

I want no more blood spilled but whoa geeze if there is one time we need to jump in it is now.
And level the place.

I don't know what to do T. My heart is so demo'd because I really thought I could help women and children in Afghanistan and it has all been for nothing. Made some headway. But not the blood lost from my good men and women who fought fighting for this freedom that is still not there.

Been an almost 20 year fight. I'm very honest when I say I think I lost. I tried. But I think I lost.

These sad far-left threads are getting resurrected, now that Obama has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq and the country is imploding because Team Obama made the tragic, horrible mistake of not leaving a residual force there. Obama and his buddies were warned repeatedly by McCain and others that they would be inviting chaos and disaster if they didn't leave a residual force. But Obama chose to listen to his pack of far-left foreign policy hacks.

Yes, you guys can drone on and on about the early mistakes that Team Bush made--disbanding the army, disbanding the police, etc., etc.--but they turned the thing around and did so in the face of howls and screams from Democrats every step on the way. They brought back key parts of the army and the police and they crushed Al Qaeda and gave hope to other Middle Eastern nations that they, too, could have elections.

I just wonder what Obama, in his own mind, thinks he can say to all the veterans who fought in Iraq. Something like this would be appropriate: "I'm sorry I totally screwed up and may well have thrown away your hard-fought victory. I really shouldn't have been reelected anyway, but the high-school dropout vote and the poverty and food-stamp vote overwhelmed the rest of the electorate and gave me a second term. Sorry about that."

Romney won every income group except the bottom two, and those two groups overwhelmed all other income groups. Oh, Romney also lost the high-school dropout vote by more than 2 to 1, and those dropout voters accounted for 3% of all votes cast, which was very important because Obama's margin of victory was right around 4%. So the loss of the dropout vote alone would have put Obama's reelection in great jeopardy.

Why haven't you admitted you are an anti-American Shia Muslim before now?

Laugh it up wench...YOU don't get it.:eusa_hand:

I edited, TD isn't a Shiite, Tiny & you just do not know the history of Iraq; there is little. Created in 1919, there has never BEEN a nation except by brutal, military rule.

Actually? WE do. Now stop with the presumptive horseshit.:eusa_hand:

Left wing nut whack job.

He is mainstream center and you are on the far, far neo-con right.

You all should go to jail.

Starkey, you and I often agree, but, as the beginning of "activities" was approved by the Senate, "rounding up" any US official is hogwash. I respect No Tea's liberty to voice his opinion, but the not the opinion itself. Some that actually blame Obama for today's nightmare in Iraq should be the focus, and yes, we must ask ourselves, could the Administration have seen the signs of ISIS/ISIL sooner? ......

You seriously don't think they knew about ISIS and others before now? Really? Sorry, but anyone who thinks they know what our government knows is simply naive. Ever heard of Edward Snowden?

My post is in retrospect to what has played itself out to be true. Not conjecture.

No T, twice TinyShiite stated he/she/it was REPORTING American posters to Shiite Iraqis. II called its bluff, it continued posting it will REPORT.
I SAW that...so WHAT are YOU afraid of? YOU still don't get it.

Not afraid of tiny or your hand symbol. I am concerned so few Americans/Canadians know the facts of Iraq's brief history.

Yeah we thought we could help the Afghani's as well determine their own course...but the LEFT is in charge now doing damage that may take years TO RECOVER FROM...if at all.. NO ONE trusts us thanks to Obama and the left.

Knowing and understanding are two distinct matters. If this or the previous administration knew, the American people must now know. ISIS did not begin 1/09, how strong they were is the question.

15th post
The Same Army that pushed his RED LINE and that Obama ARMED.

You two really should have jobs inside the Pentagon with knowledge like this....

(mainstream media idiots).
Keep Distracting...OUR "Facts" trump YOURS any day of the ******* week.

YOU may step off now.:eusa_hand:

If it's in quotation marks, it means it's something besides what it is. Thanks for confirming you are not only an idiot, but can't write either.

And if you post something as a fact you should also post a source. You never do. You just blow pixelated methane gas on here.

I'm very serious now, I do NOT support dual citizenship for Americans. That means divided loyalties.

The American people are told what to believe through virtual state-sanctioned news outlets. We have censorship on our internet, too, just not as severe as China.

The only way to know if something is true when it comes to our government and foreign involvement is how it unravels over time.

Bush stood up and admitted that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. And the dumbass Republicans let him off with a wrist slap.
