The recent anarchy in the US is exactly why semiautomatic rifles are needed. If anything, the NFA needs to be repealed in its entirety. With regards to Guatemala, you must not have ever been there. I've have, on several occasions and guns are plentiful. Damn near every business including shoe shine boys have an armed civilian doing security nearby. I once traveled through the country from Guatemala City to the West coast and I saw more men freely open carrying pistols than in any US state.

The Judge used the Heller V D.C. as the rule. He coined the word "Reasonable". 10 rounds is unreasonable but 15 is reasonable. This ruling was made in 2017. It's old news.

I've read a lot of your posts here, but what you don't make clear is WHY you feel so strongly about this?
What I do NOT see you address is the criminals who would use a gun against someone.

You may not be aware of this, but tens of thousands of women protect their children and families each year BECAUSE they had a firearm.
What do these women do when 3 violent offenders crash their back door at 3AM?

The fact is that in ANY free society, you will have a criminal element who will harm innocent people.
And to say taking guns from law abiding citizens will prevent criminals from having them is proven false.
Gun crimes in the UK, France and Australia are rising fast.

As for your example, what if that man pulls a knife on you? Would it matter if you had a gun then?

No matter what, criminals are going to get and have guns. it doesn't matter what the Law is.

90% of Virginia became 2nd Amendment sanctuaries when Northam and cronies tried to shove through their repressive nonsense. It took about a week. The cops in each county/city so designated openly stated they would enforce no unconstitutional laws.
