There has never existed a time in contemporary Western society when the population of "helpless" fat people was larger than it is today....The last I read it's around 47 million in the US on SNAP/EBT.

Because of all the "help" our society has given people, we now have tens of millions of fat people who can't live without that "help".

And we've now reached the point where we don't know what the heck else to do with them.

Red states get the majority of those funds. Screw 'em. The GOP loves starving kids anyway. Asshole kids would probably eat sugar cereal instead of beets and turnips. They should be hungry for being dumb.

have you seen some of these people's remarks on social media. One woman, black, was very demanding, aggressive and threatened that she and those like her would be coming out looking for......i think Trump supporters because like the unreasonable trump haters she blames her unfulfilled EBT card on Trump and his supporters. Just like Carvile and the dems want. She threatened to be going after 'certain' people and possibly eating them. Seems some societal traits can't be unlearned.

Problem is, Food banks are providing food to illegals generally because they're run by leftists. They ignore the plight of actual americans of all races and the military. I had an aunt that worked for that fed program of providing butter, cheese etc to the low income and we all learned that the employees were taking advantage of that themselves. Maybe a lot of those employees were legitimately in the same situation. Don't know that answer.

Beck was speaking about this situation just this morning on his show. Encouraging those with the means to provide food stuffs to these food banks if for no other reason than to stand in the way of the globalist/communist/socialist/islamist goal of destabilization the west with this chaos.

How can government workers, who earn higher than average wages, not have ONE MONTH of savings in the bank? Or even two weeks?! They know that a shutdown is possible every October.

Government employees have missed only one paycheck. You mean to tell me that these people, with average salaries of around $100,000, don’t have a month’s worth of savings? Even a lowly GS-5 with a high school diploma still gets around $50,000.

If ANY government worker has gone to a bar for a couple of drinks, bought expensive name-brand sneakers, went out to eat numerous times at Applebee’s or Olive Garden, etc - without having built a nominal savings cushion knowing that a Government shutdown is always a possibility every October - I have no sympathy.

My wife was a federal worker. During these shutdowns they could collect unemployment. If its good enough for millions of Americans who have lost a job, its good enough for them.

When you yank the carpet out from under someone with little or no notice, you have to understand they may react. It could be food stamps, it could be tariffs, it could be health insurance, it could be international military assistance.

That's what this administration has done since it started its second season term. Presumably they have decided that ripping off every single band aid at the same time will result in something positive in the long run.
