Even though this was signed by a Leftist governor, its definitely a good thing.
No priest needs to worry about getting pinched over this, the Chomo-American community isn't going to rat them out to the police if they don't comply.
No priest, OTOH, need to worry about getting excommunicated and defrocked over this either. A priest who complies with the new law and drops a dime on local predators doesn't have to worry about vice detectives ratting him out to the archbishop.
The good point about the law is the fact it will cast doubts in the Child Molester Community as to whether its safe to tell a priest about this.
Some Child Molesters will undoubtedly quit the practice so they don't have to worry about being snitched on by a priest.
Can't see a negative here.
