Airlines, after an accident and the accident is investigated by the FAA and other federal agencies, must provide life insurance for each passenger killed based on a variety of criteria such as age and income potential.

No. Because guns don't cause mass destruction. People do. People kill people, people bomb people, on and on and on. Human beings seek the destruction of other human beings. Guns and bombs are inanimate unless they are employed by the human element.
