Walter Cronkite's Ridiculous Spin on the 1968 Tet Offensive in South Vietnam

An even better question is: When did North Vietnam threaten us in any way?
North Vietnam agreed to not attack the South. Americans then left Vietnam. And 2 years later North Vietnam broke the agreement they made.-

We left Vietnam 2 years earlier. It did not threaten us, it conquered S. Vietnam.

The Communists conquered South Vietnam because most Vietnamese wanted them to.
Actually had the South wanted them to invade, the North never would have invaded.

They sure did. The Americans knew the NVA would, eventually.

I know, it's quite incredible, it comes down to arrogance that the US can never be wrong about anything, it takes a bigger man to admit they got it wrong, sad to say they still have the same arrogance with all the illegal wars they have been involved in since Vietnam and all the horror inflicted on the World to this day.
Vietnam was legal you stupid fool as were the others since.

You have been proven wrong but are too childish to adnmit it

keep the goal posts in one place.

We were talking about justified
OK, how was it justified to try to keep a Vietnamese leader from coming to power in South Vietnam that the vast majority of the Vietnamese supported?

They did not support him

Stopping the spread of communist tyranny is always justified

We did not stop him from Siezing power but from invading a foriegn nation which was our ally

The war in Vietnam was always about National liberation than anything, the Vietnamese fought the French Colonialists and defeated them at Dien Bien Phu, they fought against the Japanese then the US Imperialists, the National liberation front or the Viet Cong to you ignorant clowns were South Vietnamese, it was always more about Vietnamese Nationalism than Communism, General Giap was the mastermind in defeated those foreign thugs.
