CDZ Virginia Schools Close After Uproar Over Arabic Calligraphy Lesson

just one teacher-----sassylassie. She probably has no idea how IMPORTANT
that bit of calligraphy is to muslims------or even how upset some survivors
of Islamic oppression might be by it. I will give you an example------it could
upset my hubby-----he was born in a shariah society. I live in a town that includes
a few muslim enclaves. He will CROSS THE STREET to avoid walking near a mosque. Another perspective might be------if there is a public school in a
muslim area-------try having ALL THE KIDS copy various forms of the CRUCIFIX
over time and place------as a geography lesson (ya know----like the eastern
orthodox things with extra lines and the elaborate gothic medieval ones-------)
then do a project on ILLUMINATING the new testament -----with fancy gold
leaf decorated depictions of the crucifixtion------nice big ones for the
holidays------and for saint Patrick's day------copies of his writings in LATIN-------
for the sake of geography

Time and time again there are news stories of these moron teachers doing this garbage. It has to stop

that's why it MAKES THE NEWS. A lesson involving making fancy
cutouts on folded paper -----to be SNOW FLAKES would not make news.
Whatever happened to those projects?? We live in confusing times.
OUR president has banished the manger from the whitehouse lawn-----but
the SHAHIDA is a school requirement. Starbucks---banished the snowflakes
as a symbol of christmas
