Very awkward with dad

It’s very both sad and realty
We have zero connection on any level
. Both of us lack any means to emotionally express ourselves or even try to form any bond
Basically 2 strangers

Even during our final dinner - we had zero conversation

However with my mom : we were able to connect and talk about multiple things

Both my brother and sister rarely ever talk to my dad , as well

I know it’s him

We were watching the Taylor and King concert on cnn and every commercial break they would talk about the upcoming Jan 6th anniversary and this exacerbated everything

He called the rioters many names . I responded saying it’s 100 percent politics and the real protest and anarchy was from the 700 plus leftist riots

Glad he left but I do miss my mom
