Ukrainian military officers reacted Friday to the shouting match that broke out in the Oval Office between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

One military officer, who goes by the call sign Aleks, said on Telegram he doesn’t “give a damn” about the kind of peace Trump offers.

“It’s better to fight to death than to freeze the war and then be drained again in three years,” he said.

“Trump understands the aggressive manner of negotiations and is trying to crush Zelensky. There would have been no heated talks if Trump had offered at least a ceasefire on the contact line with minimal amendments,” said Stanislav Buniatov, another Ukrainian military officer, in a Telegram post.

“We are talking about handing over Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and a number of cities in the Donetsk region to the Russians,” Buniatov added.

“How do you imagine giving away cities with people? Trump does, because we are not people to him, he is negotiating on behalf of Putin’s interests, so don’t stoop to that,” he added.

Zelanski needs to know when to hold them and when to fold them.
Perhaps there is still a chance for redemption before he heads back
to Ukraine. I wouldn't put money on it, but maybe some self reflection
on his part, he can salvage the trip over here.
Just the US presence with the mining in Ukraine would cause hesitation with Putin
to do something stupid.

I could not care less about Zelenskyy. IMHO, he needs to resign so the Country can hold elections. He's burned his bridges.

Zelensky DID call out Trump and his lies in front of the world media. Trump and Vance made utter asses of themselves, calling Zelensky "ungrateful".

Yes Russia invaded, and if not for the US and it's billions, the war would
have been over years ago.
Putin wants all of Ukraine, that wouldn't happened with the successful
negotiations. Putin would end up with what he has now, and those people
in that region want to be governed by Russia. Truce would be, the war would
be over and loss of life would cease. The US would help rebuild Ukraine
with the funds from the mining.

If you believe Ukraine was winning the war because of what the media, Litwin, and others said......this cements the fact that they were all GASLIGHTING you! Even the big Z admits his country is in dire straights. He is having trouble even getting manpower.

Unless Europe intervenes with soldiers, Ukraine will be gone very quickly. Big Z though doesn't want a cease fire, he wants the war to continue and the USA and everyone else send in military to bail him out.
