Veganism and health.

Veganism is not a Christian doctrine, tenet, or teaching. It's a personal choice and should remain so.

LOLOLOLOL. Yeah, except that it is both God's original and ultimate diet. Except for that little tiny inconsequential fact. And except for the fact that from cover to cover God commands us to be merciful. Except for that tiny little inconsequential fact too.

God said, “Look, I have given you every plant that produces seed on the face of the whole earth, and every tree that bears fruit that produces seed. It will be your food. Genesis 1:29

The wolf will live with the lamb,
and the leopard will lie down with the goat.
The calf, the young lion, and the fatling will be together,
and a child will lead them.
The cow and the bear will graze,
their young ones will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
An infant will play beside the cobra’s pit,
and a toddler will put his hand into a snake’s den.
None will harm or destroy another
on My entire holy mountain,
for the land will be as full
of the knowledge of the Lord
as the sea is filled with water.
Isaiah 11:6-9

Veganism eschews the natural fertilization of crops using animal manures in favor of chemical fertilizers. These chemicals already have a profound environmental impact, which would be manifold times worse if veganism expands beyond its current numbers.

Imagine if they used up all the fields.

The Earth needs grazing animals for the eco system.

There is ignorance then there is willful ignorance. The Parable of the Sower is the better explanation

True. There's a big difference between sincere ignorance and willful ignorance. I was talking about the former. But since you mentioned it...sadly I think it is true that a lot of people purposely don't look at what goes on in the animal industries, because I think they know deep down that if they looked at what they were paying for, they would then have no excuse.

And yes, I have noticed that there are lot of similarities between what we're talking about here, and the Parable of the Sower. A lot of people's hearts are simply too hard, and not the right "soil" to receive the message and have that paradigm shift.

I totally agree about JUST Egg. It's actually really good, I love their products... but they did miss a great opportunity to capture some of the market during that time.

I love tofu scramble too. It's all about how you make it. Ok, another shameless plug, but I made a video on that too, about 5 years ago.

(The hands in the video are not mine, that was my roommate. I was filming)

I made this today for dinner actually minus the tortilla shells. It was really good. Also left mee feeling really satisfied. I only used 1/4 of the tofu so I'll make it the next few days to use up the tofu.

Tomorrow I'll get some low carb tortilla shells. I do prefer eating it that way.

Awesome. Thanks for letting me know. I've only made maybe 3 recipe videos on my channel, but it's always cool to hear when someone uses them.

The following one kinda took off.... but the other 2 only got less than 200 views.

I agree that animals should be killed in a humane way.

Your references are before the flood, and after Christ returns. We are not living in either age.

That is surprising. Chemical fertilizers must be used according to directions, no deviancy if not that's where the trouble to health and environment begins.
Chemical fertilizers are treated with acid to make them 'water soluble'. Too much rain can dissolve them too soon causing the nutrients to leach into the ground water, sometimes requiring reapplication. Manures are more stable.

This is true of most advice given to others. If your goal is to promote physical health, there are better ways to do it. If your goal is to convert people to religion as you believe it, you're on a fool's errand.

You obviously haven't seen my YouTube channel, website, etc, if you think my goal is to promote physical health. (Don't get me wrong, I do believe a whole food plantbased diet is one of the healthiest if not THE healthiest diet of all, but that is not my focus and never has been.) PS: Look at who started this thread. As for "converting people to religion" why would I do that? That's a very odd word choice for a Christian, since the point has never been "religion"... and even Jesus had the highest criticism for the religious leaders of that time who cared more about empty religion than God and truth.

I see you're resurrecting old(ish) threads again. You really like this topic, don't you?

My goal is to WARN people that there are consequences for ABUSING God's Creation and HIS directive to be honorable STEWARDS over HIS Creation

But you are right about unsolicited "advice.' Still, the Christian MUST speak

"Preach the gospel. Use words if necessary."
