CA has long ago restricted the purchase of out of state vehicles with smog requirements and taxes. It wouldn't be a stretch to see them just refuse to register vehicles that they don't like. Commiefornia.

The industry is dying a slow agonizing death. My daughter worked in the EV battery industry until last week. The company is shutting down for a week because GM doesn't need their batteries because their cars are not selling. There are rumors they may have to shutter the plant completely. She voluntarily left while the getting is good so she can find other employment.

because they didn't need to vote to stop debate. 60 votes is only needed for cloture, which is needed to stop debate, but if they dont' need to vote to stop debate, they don't need a cloture vote.

Like this is basic stuff, more basic then realizing you only need 51 votes to pass a bill in the Senate. You really need a 8th grade civics class, now wonder you are so wrong on the time and vote dembot.
