If you're interested in hearing about the details regarding some of the nefarious activities of the "deep state" during the current administration, take a look at the recent Joe Rogan's interview of Marc Andreessen, it's simply mind boggling what the Federal Government has been up to in recent years.

How the government censorship complex, de-banking of American Citizens and Businesses (and more) works, doesn't matter if you're a Republican, Democrat or Independent, this stuff should piss you off.

Enjoy.

Please define the Deep State.

Please define the Deep State.
The bureaucratic/technocratic pencil necks and goons who nobody voted for, who are entirely unaccountable to anyone, that remain in the gubmint for decades, who could throw you in prison at any time for breaking any one their endless litany of indecipherable rules.

That could just as easily be describing the current Republican led Supreme Court.

So?....WTF do you think you're proving here, derp?
That if you think that process makes you immune to being part of the Deep State then the FBI Director or anyone else who goes through Congressional confirmation can't be either. It's your argument my guy, you should understand it's implications better than me. :itsok:

The Federal Executive Branch Administrative Bureaucracy, its associated web of NGO's and sundry legislatively unaccountable government organizations.
Staffing those places with Trump loyalists isn't so much a dismantling of the Deep State as it is a repurposing of it for the benefit of Trump.

Didn't say any of that, Captain Strawman.

Now go play on the interstate.

So then what are you saying? I'm still saying that your original comment describes the Republican Supreme Court who's all about qualified immunity for government officials elected or otherwise from the police to the President.

So less the Deep State, more the Administrative State? That is helpful.
Either way works, IMHO the "Deep State" is more accurate since it describes the legions of faceless, unelected bureaucrats that exert an inordinate amount of control over our lives and who's objectives and methods are completely opaque to the average American Citizen. Not to mention the fact that much of it operates without accountability to anyone but themselves.

Watch the video, it's worth it.

It's really not. Complaining about faceless bureaucrats is one thing, what do you wish to do about it? Donald Trump hasn't ended qualified immunity he's argued that he himself is immune from accountability and his Republican led Supreme Court agrees.

Wait, what happened to their faces. My GOD WHAT HAPPENED TO THEIR FACES!!!! :hyper:

this stuff should piss you off.
It does piss me off that so many people are so emotionally weak, they'll grab on to idiot conspiracy theories to just make themselves feel special.

Normal people are okay with feeling ordinary. Trump cultists aren't. They need to feel like special snowflakes who know the RealTruth.

What part of what Andreessen said is an "idiot conspiracy theory"? Kinda odd since he was speaking from direct personal experience.

How is it "emotionally weak" to listen to other people's views and experiences, do you think it makes you "emotionally strong" to live in an echo chamber where you only listen to those that agree with your strongly held biases?

Did you even watch the interview?
