Most of the world's population has a financial interest in the freedom of sea trade. If America declared that they can decide what should and what shouldn't be trafficked via high seas - it's everyone's business. Today they kill supposed cocaine clippers, tomorrow they will sink oil tankers. If America declared that US NAVY have right to kill unarmed civilian sailors - it is everyone's business. There are rules, and those rules were written for certain reasons by blood of those fools, who though that they can write their own rules by themselves. You want to add additional rules - you have two ways:
1) Negotiations with main world powers.
2) War against all main world powers.

My arguments are quite simple: 1) There are certain rules; 2) there are certain reasons for establishing those rules; 3) those rules were established by forcing other powers to follow them; 4) you are violating those rules; 5) you are going to face the consequences.
