Twitter Fact Checks trump's Tweets. Labels Two As Misleading

One needs facts in order to honestly fact-check.

Twitter and others of its ilk fear an open arena. Frankly, it's none of their business to fact-check anything. That is the job of its users.
This is your dictionary these days. It is EVERYONE'S business to try to keep you folks on this planet with us. As much as we don't really want you around. But it's the right thing to do.

I believe after the election that Berg will become a piece of USMB history. I don't see him sticking around.
Surely you can disguise the allegation you are making better than that.

While you're trying to figure out how, why not comment on the subject of the thread. Namely, Trump's outrage at being exposed for lying on the medium he most relies on to get his lies heard without previous concern for being monitored.
Okay, they are fact checking his opinions...which is weird.
Does Twitter show bias, I mean, do they blanket their medium for all opinions? Or, just the ones that they disagree with?

I just started a thread that actually discusses the very heart of this issue, which is iust NOT some Trump-hating, personally attacking TDS-focused attack on the President but is instead about the bigger, broader picture, the more critical Liberal Progressive Socialist Democrat threat to the US Constitution, Constitutional and Civil Rights, and the use of the ChiCom 'blueprint' for censoring any and all speech that does not agree with, facilitate the spread of liberal policies and agenda, and strangle-hold control of the populace through ending Free Speech.

Although I try to avoid ignorant, short-sighted, TDS-suffering focused propaganda thread like this one, I urge moderators to combine this thread with the one I just started so the focus of discussion will not be a micro-scoped narrow one intending to attack the President but will allow the REAL PROBLEM, which is the growing Censorship threat the country faces....

"President Donald Trump flew into a rage on Tuesday night after Twitter used its new fact checking feature to correct his false claim that voting by mail leads to election fraud.

“.@Twitter is now interfering in the 2020 Presidential Election,” he tweeted. “They are saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect, based on fact-checking by Fake News CNN and the Amazon Washington Post.”

Trump accused the social media platform of “completely stifling FREE SPEECH.”

“And I, as President, will not allow it to happen!” he wrote.

Despite his complaints, Trump’s statement about mail-in voting systems was indeed incorrect. There is no evidence that mail-in voting causes voter fraud."

The battle over mail-in ballots may play a big role in the 2020 election. Especially if the country experiences a resurgence of COVID. It's why the Liar-in-Chief is working hard to put doubt in the mind's of the public about the veracity of mail-in ballots. Just the way Putin wants him to.
You all realize, if the election is close, which it might be, it will take DAYS or even WEEKS to count all the votes? First they have to wait for a certain number of days after voting day for the US Post Office to get the ballots to the Registrar. Then they have to check every ballot's signature. THEN they count the votes. It's a good thing the Electoral College doesn't meet to vote until December.

Lol, fact checked by CNN? The station that wouldn't broadcast his news briefings, because they were improving his poll numbers? November might just pull you totally over the edge, and I'm going to have my popcorn and beer.

He will be institutionalized.
He should already be there. That much hate in a person isn't healthy.

Nope. Not mine.

The Democrats are the ones practicing a proto-version of Newspeak.

"Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten."

I don't think most people consider that an "opinion," Meister. Did the President say, "IMO" or "I think?" Of course, his supporters take everything he utters as gospel, so that's a given.

Trump is losing his shit. I hope the media keeps egging him on until he has such a meltdown that even Mitch McConnell will be forced to disavow it.

Get Out the Vote programs are just another method of ballot harvesting using cars. Republicans know the greater the number of citizens voting, the worse it is for the GOP. They don't want that.

They should have done it for the last 4 years

Billy, unfortunately Orwell was talking about what has happened to the right. It was planned from the beginning. Of course you can't see it. You've been brainwashed good and proper.

It's truly frightening to see my fellow citizens so compromised.

Trump is interfering with the election process by trying to endanger voters and prevent them from voting
They are SUPPOSED to be prevented from voting, when they (aliens) are not eligible to vote, information-deprived liberal.

Doesn’t matter. Trump is threatening Twitter’s constitutional rights in his response.

Everyone who loves our freedoms should be opposed to Trump’s response regardless of how you feel about the veracity of his original statement.

As difficult as it is to think something like that could happen in the US, all things are possible with Trump. He said the last election was rigged. He did not promise to accept defeat if he lost. Refusing to accept the result this time around is absolutely plausible.
Of course it was rigged against him. In many ways. I listed them in another thread, 4 years ago. Information-deprived liberals, and we have to put up with them. Sheeesh!

Wrong. He was talking about Stalin-era propaganda techniques. Controlling speech, erasing people and all that.

Democrats have been using Orwell's fiction as a manual for decades, with slow but steady progess.

Fake news CNN and fake news Washington Post is not "our freedoms". They are the left's lying mouthpieces. And not all speech is free.

The GOP dropped that pretense of personal responsibility. It's no longer operative. No responsibility. At all. The right to lie freely is the game.

They’re Americans with constitutional rights.

Could say the same if you flipped the other side of that coin.
