There is nothing routine about an administration using the DOJ to go after it's political opponent, a former President of the United States.

There's nothing routine about former presidents taking hundreds of classified documents. There's nothing routine about former president's lying about complying with subpoenas. There's nothing routine about former president's thinking they're untouchable and above the law.

This all happened because of choices Trump made. The DoJ is not going to ignore the law because he's a former president.

Trump has offered several defenses in popular media. None of them are rational or logical.

He and his lackeys say he declassified documents, but that defies all common sense, especially when they refused to say what was in the supposedly declassified documents.

He says he had the right to take the documents. There's no such right in the law.

As for the obstruction of justice charges, he hasn't offered a defense because he doesn't want you guys to think about it and he probably has no actual defense.

All you have to do is have a little common sense.
